    I'm so thankful for your videos. Do you have videos for other makes and models of vehicles? I have a Dodge Grand Caravan like the one in this video and I followed your instructions and I confident that the work performed is quality. Thank you sir for all you do.

    Great video! Followed the entire thing and did my front brakes and rotors today. Probably the most helpful part was how to get the stuck rotors off. Mine were STUCK! Kept whacking it with my mini sledge hammer and rotating and finally they came off.

      That's why its important to clean and lube the hub face to prevent rust between. An air hammer makes it nice to remove rusty rotors.

    No need to bleed the brake fluid?

    Thanks for another great video. When is it acceptable to change the brake pads only, or rather, what determines when the rotors need to be replaced?

    • @YouWrench
      @YouWrench  2 роки тому

      I think this is covered in thie video actually, but basically on the disc is a minimum thickness usually engraved around the rim. Provided that the disc is still thicker than this, and that the disc face is still flat (not pitted from the previous pads) then you can replace pads only with no problem. But if the discs are pitted then they should be replaced as the pitting can cause damage to the new pads, or stop them working efficently. Hope that helps :-) www.paypal.me/youwrench

    Hello, my 2015 caravan is making a Jerky movement when coming to a stop, sometimes it turns off by itself when on a full stop. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thank you so much and much appreciated.

      That could be a quite a few different things unfortunately. Unlikely to be the brakes though, more likely would be things like transmission, or even engine related, or cat/exhaust. It would be worth getting a cheap diagnostic code reader and attaching it and seeing what codes are being generated. This, in turn, should then point you in the right direction to get started. Could be simple, could be a nightmare, but it needs some research or to be seen in person by a qualified mechanic to get a feel for the nature of the issue. Best of luck!

    I have a question sir, how do i know the size of my rotors? Because apparently there are a few sizes of rotors,i have watched your videos and they're awesome,but i need that little piece of information so i can order the parts beforehand. Thank you so much!!!!!!

    • @YouWrench
      @YouWrench  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes, you are correct! Grand Caravan's can have Standard of Heavy Duty brakes. If you look in the video description for this video you will find a link to our video on how to tell which type you have and the rotor sizes for each type etc. PLEASE BE SURE to use our Amazon links to order your new parts to help support our channel. Thank you!

    excellent video! But, you did not mention the master cylinder before compressing

    • @bobsoft
      @bobsoft 5 місяців тому

      Mention what? You don't need to crack any bleeders or open the master when compressing the calipers.

    Hi can I just use a c clamp instead of a brake rewind pack?

    • @bobsoft
      @bobsoft 5 місяців тому

      Yes, You will have to put it over the banjo bolt to get it in the middle and be able to push both pads in evenly.
