- I found this kitten by chance while I was out shopping ten days ago. The kitten was very thin and exhausted. I took him home and took care of him, and he is now happy and healthy.

In my life I had several cats living at my home. Everyone was exceptional ad has its own personality. Some of them was not very smart, some was brainiacs, some was assholes, some weirdoes :) but we loved them and they paid us back twice just with their presence.

Hi from France dear Savior! The first cat I rescued never ever went to the extremely comfy bed I made for him. He was either glued to me or in the laundry basket. Some needs to have your smell to feel good. 😊

It was the same for my "Petit Coeur", when I found him in the street on 25 july 1999, he was very small and thiny, black and white , with only skin and bones, very very thirsty and hungry, with only one day or two of life...I transported him at home on my bicycle, and he was very afraid and put him with my two other cats, and very quickly he got a very deep bond and slept with them in the same cat bed. With them and my mum and me, Petit Coeur had a long life, 18 years, full of love. He died in my arms on 14 january 2O18.

So many little ones do when they are old enough to stop nursing, but there is nowhere for mom to teach them how to hunt.

More likely he was scared because he assumed people were predators. A kitten like that would find it difficult to scavenge food in a built up environment, he probably just lost his mother and couldn't find her again.

We can still say he has given up on finding food, but just for a different, and very good reason, he doesn't have to find it, it just appears in the silver bowl whenever he is hungry, and he already knows no one is going to come and steal it from him! So good to see him have energy and play like a kitten should! He is determined to catch the strange tiny red creature running across the floor!
