I totally agree with you there are several Caribbean men who are cut from the same leadership cloth: Marcus Garvey, Michael Manley, Bob Marley and Malcolm X. For these men the end did not justify the means, they stood for the "rock of truth." In spite of the setbacks, I'm convince the truth and right doing will always prevail, and the "end will NEVER" justify the means: This philosophy is from the "bottomless pit" spoken of in the Book of Revelation!

@@kgraamdStop being naive. Michael Manley had to govern under a full CIA and American invasion. Sanctions and embargo were the reason for the struggles Jamaica faced in the 70s. Michael Manley transformed poor people's lives in Jamaica. As many said it was a second emancipation. So your hate for Micheal won't change history.

I am from the USA but have lived in Argentina for the last 18 years, the economic dillema is frequently that the politicians offer the resources to foreign companies, mainly from the USA, and take loans from the IMF and world bank and those politicians are certainly taking money to make the agreements. Not saying that Manley was corrupt or that the Kirchners did that here, but Macri sure did. Furthermore when the loans are received we dont notice a bump in the economy, but when we fail to pay it back in a timely fashion, which always happens, we get charged interest and penalties and the economy tanks. If you dont think its corrupt ask yourself why any bank would loan Argentina money when it always fails to make the payments!! I doubt that we receive the full amount of the loan as its a long process for the banks just to make interest

The former prime minister the most respected and acclaimed Michael Manley seemed to perfectly diagnosed the problems but to,me his approach and application were, not effective.
What mr,Manley should have done was to take a more gradual, and surgical attack, towards the problems socially and economically as a boy at the time when he was the prime minister Jamaica was very divisive and hostile and that made governance difficult..
In,total he,spent almost 12,years as prime minister of Jamaica 🇯🇲 and did he achieve the socio, economic progress that leaders are judged,
I,have to be,dispassionate hero worshiping is not my way of analyzing Mr made his contribution and like anyone else recognition and thanks must be given not exaggeration.

The only way you can destroy a nation is when you have people were not loyal and he had a lot of people in his party. It was not loyal and that’s why Jamaica went down. There was they were in there for themselves, but overall, I mainly love the Jamaican people we will never see another Prime Minister like My Never Jamaica lost. They had their chance and they did not take it until they learn to unite you will never never see that ever again. Politics is a dirty game. Everything I see happening to the United States right now bring memories back to me of what we went through in the 70s now it’s western leave me When a nation is divided that nation lost their grip just like Jamaica America have lost it. America will never be the same because it’s divided.
