Danny. I believe it might be the same process. At least it should be for the last four digits. I checked on my friend's G1 and rather than using the focus dial, you use the DRIVE and ISO buttons
For anyone looking this up: it's the same process. After entering the hidden menu, you have to click the "Drive" button a few times, until the Shutter display (right side) shows you 08 and 09. On the left LCD you can then read the shutter count. You're welcome ;)
Very informative video, thank you! I recently bought a Contax G2 kit with the body, 45mm lens and the TLA 200 flash. I'm looking for a sturdy camera bag on the smaller side with nice padding that I could fit the camera in with the mounted lens, the flash, as well as some rolls of film. Do you have any suggestions?
Is there any more information anywhere as to what the other parts of this menu are? Lots of different numbers to scroll through just to get to the shutter count, I wonder what they all mean. Can't find anyone else talking about this "manual adjustment mode"
Mine says FF on the Adjustment Item 09. What does this mean ? Does it say 00 when the total shutter count is below 10000 ? I have looked up the repair manual and it doesn't mention this.
Hi Jack! Any idea about why my G2 shows the distance at wich is focusing when I try to see the total shout count? It seems that I can´t access the adjustment mode I, but there's no problem with the adjustment mode II
my new g2 has only 555 shots ! was also wondering if you knew how to change the focus unit of measurement want to change from meters to feet if thats possible
drive.google.com/file/d/1DoTaBzXITZqDyArdx4WFZVHfkZuDUfwQ/view?usp=sharing This link should explain. It's the full service manual of the camera. Please be careful in the menus though, it's easy to mess with AF adjustments
@@lovercontax4979 I wish! I've looked quite awhile to find one. Do let me know if you come across them. In the meantime, @ppp_repairs on instagram is pretty skilled with these cameras.
Thanks, Jack and it works!! Is it possible to check G1 as well?
Danny Chan Not sure! still looking for a manual!
