Man soooo much hate going on, can we just stop for a minute and take some time to appreciate the time put into the making of this video for us??? I’m doing this build.. and couldn’t be more grateful.. thanks YamatoFactory!!
This is friggin' awesome. As much as I enjoy Tamiya kits (they're "fun"), this takes things to a whole new level. Kinda like building a long-haul version of a Class 1 crawler. Are the instructions also in English?
@@robbryan3044 I’ve done 5 of these kits since then (truck/trailer/friend) and I’ve learned a lot from them;) yeah there in English too, the 1.7mm drill holes? I used a 1/16 bit instead just a smidge smaller, bit harder to tap it, but holds the screw way better, stripped a few holes on my first kit. Don’t over tighten as well!! Just a tiny bit of thread lock…Other than that just take your time and I goes together pretty smooth!
hurts to see the drilling and tapping is done. and air suspension with hard outside plastic? what is inside a spring ???. (expected some kind of rubber bags with tubing to a control box.)
Seems like a lot of nothing for a lot of money. The setup will mostly be hidden by the frame and wheels during operation with practically zero to minimal difference in functionality.
Dude very cool. Where can I get parts for a build I am planning of a 1/14 scale 379 Peterbilt. I am going to need rear differentials, front axle those air bags of course and, well everything. I have scene some of the kits on line but I am going to tack it to the next level so I am going to need parts. Well if you can help me it would be appreciated, thanks.
Who cares, it's a toy. Go work on a real class 8 and see how precision is held to 1/8 of an inch for most stuff. It scales down about right . ITS A TOY
Possibly didn't use loctite as this was a demonstration video of how the parts are assembled and operate.. they may not be staying on the particular model he is doing it on.
Various reasons for wearing gloves when building models here are some examples 1. keeps away the oil on your fingers leaving finger prints on parts especially windows 2. give you more grip when picking up screws and other small parts. 3. keeps your hands and fingers clean when using oil or grease. some people have skin conditions like Eczema which can be painful. Gloves prevent foreign objects like dirt, dust, oil and grease away from your hands... hopes this helps with your question.
really nice but why would u put a 2 dollar drive sharft in it after all that nice stuff u just did . why not put a lesu drive train in it . it looked so stupid with that shit drive sharft in . but the rest the build was good

that is an amazing kit. Very detailed. While it is not a true air suspension I think it looks fantastic.

Nice video, (little too long) Main matter: I think you need to use a more solid drill, this thing flexes like a tree in the wind....
I have not seen worst tapping job. But the build is really good.
TAMIYA best truck there is
Yes, awsome models, but do you know "scaleart"? Absolut perfection.
Its not air suspension unless its actual air bags with a compressor, good video tho
Super video but the title is wrong. This is spring system looks like '' air system''.
Absolutely sweet suspension. Great video. Got the website but having trouble switching it to English to understand and make a purchase
it's $175.00 for the kit. Just google scaleclub .
Brilliant, artist at work.
Cool video! Love the jack stands.. Gloves were a good idea, keeps the small finger smudges from occurring and distracting the process! fun video!

Lindo demais perfeito 😍😍 parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good mister 👍
The 4 torque arms are not even needed if its mostly solid ride. It just up and down movements. The differential is not going to shift left or right.
Do you not understand the point of a model?
can you tell me what size nut driver or tool that is beeing used for the small screw?
Seems like a lot of nothing for a lot of money. The setup will mostly be hidden by the frame and wheels during operation with practically zero to minimal difference in functionality.
Great but that music is grinding after 30 mins
Izin buat referensi 🙏
Videonya keren 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That's very very close to Kenworth AG400 suspension
Pehhh apike ndakumum bang , sukses selalu
I wonder how they manage to work with gloves, and I don't see the problem in doing what he does with bare hands

Outro nível esse equipamento!
Que coisa mais satisfatória de ver
I love the airbags, but the tapping starting at 10:00 was cringe inducing. Up to 45 degree tilts while tapping. *shuddering*
Nice,a Kenworth 8 bag.
Amazing
ou peut on trouvé cette suspension pneumatique
will this kit work with Hercules Hobby models?
All the components are very similar to the real ones!
went to the site, couldnt figure out how to order it
C trop classe 👍👍
I like it. Your car is very beautiful.👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕💕💕🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🚗🚗🚗🚜🚜🚜
Where do you buy the kit for air suspension please
Dude very cool. Where can I get parts for a build I am planning of a 1/14 scale 379 Peterbilt. I am going to need rear differentials, front axle those air bags of course and, well everything. Just buy the Tamiya kit
Impressive but does it fit for rcbrmin 1:14 differential lock axles too?
Does it come with the stencil for drilling?
yes it does you will see at start of video the guy pulling it out of the same bag as the other parts came in
At 26:09 are the axels ofset that the connector isnt straight?
they are often like that in 1:1 scale trucks as well
@@randomrandy1166 if he changes the direction of the front axel they aline perfectly
Which Tamiya Chassis are you using? I'm trying on Scania 3 axles ones and it seems not possible to safely fit the last couple of aribags
Amazing product!
That's a piss poor way to tap the holes as you should have used a tapping jig to keep the tap straight .
Who cares, it's a toy. Go work on a real class 8 and see how precision is held to 1/8 of an inch for most stuff. It scales down about right . ITS A TOY
Anyone see him add any Loctite to them screws?
Possibly didn't use loctite as this was a demonstration video of how the parts are assembled and operate.. they may not be staying on the particular model he is doing it on.
What are the gloves for

Looks pretty and all, but they just act like regular suspension. Bit disappointing
that suspension is from kenworth
@sami bruh you think a mainstream truck manufacturer would get their designs from some dumb rc copy?
GREAT VIDEO THANKS
VERY HELPFUL

Very slowly work...😴😴😴
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look scale when it’s compressing. You can tell it’s a not a real air bladder...
Well, it’s an RC toy, so I can understand why it wouldn’t fool anybody into thinking it was real.
Keren abis
I enjoyed a great video let's be friends 😁😁😎😎🤩🤩
👍👍👍👍👍👍
too much prescition on the drilling and too much destroying on the tapping...
🤦🏻
@canuckguy worried
😄
Seriously, that is exactly how to NOT tap threads!
Wow
Why are you wearing gloves
Covid
ua-cam.com/video/ybKX2eE2q3Q/v-deo.html
They won’t last long if they used the same material they made the tires with,,..
bien
really nice but why would u put a 2 dollar drive sharft in it after all that nice stuff u just did . why not put a lesu drive train in it . it looked so stupid with that shit drive sharft in . but the rest the build was good
Cheap, effective and out of sote.
