I just had the super dawg literally 2 seconds ago for the first time and I did not like it. My husband loved his super cheesy and the fries were amazing but did not like that hot dog. I wanna try the ski dog next time.
Its like comparing pasta sauce made cooked from canned or fresh tomatoes, compared to pasta made with ketchup. Sure ketchup may be nice to some, but its just too sweet and overpowering on its own. Probably good to use when you have bad hotdog meat.
By no way is this the best dog in Chicago. Half the time you get sick eating their food. Gene and Judes is better and always has a line day or night. I lived here for 25 years.
It’s because hot dogs are often packaged in sketchy places and if they are contaminated or not cooked properly they can become host to deadly bacteria that can make you very ill. Normally not a problem for people but for a pregnant woman it can be dangerous even if it’s still not likely to cause problems unless you get unlucky.
This is a HORRIBLE Chicago dog and these people are VERY obnoxious with their "We dont serve hot dogs here" when somebody orders a "hot dog". Is just a waste of time and being condescending to a customer.
This woman's voice is so annoying + fails at making anything look genuine, worst of all she keeps mentioning the baby all the time like okay we get it you are pregnant stop drawing too much attention.
Their Polish sausage aka “Whoopski Dawg,” is incredible in its own right.
