- I've seen questions on my videos about how to get Ship of Harkinian (the Ocarina of Time PC Port) working or any of it's mods so I've decided to make a guide with the best of my knowledge. Really cool tutorial, i wasnt able to run it from other tutorials but this one did actually show me what i was doing wrong

for some reason the ground textures and other textures for the 3ds mod wont load its still the same textures i did everything right
Is there anyway to speed up the game? Like for cutscenes or if you wanna run faster over hyrule field etc?
Includes multilanguage?
TL;DR - Half of the texture packs loads
I'm having an strange issue where the textures for the models, ui, sky, moon, inside of houses, and even the pause menu all appear just fine but the field textures like the ground, pre-rendered backgrounds, and item icons in the menu remain the original textures. Have you heard of this happening or know of a fix?
I've had an issue where the market prerenders would stop working randomly, but I haven't had an issue with any of the other textures. If you toggle assets during gameplay, this could cause it. Make sure you're also on the latest version which is 8.0.3 as of writing this.
for some reason I have like 3 face textures on links Face :D ... why is that?

i made a mistake midway and I made link with censored eyes and mouth like creepypasta, cuz i forgot to remove 3ds texture pack for link jesus it scared me
Hi, I do just wanna suggest altering the video title- very comprehensive video as it is, however the current title order makes the video seem like it will show how to install mods on the switch port, which is not covered in this video. From my research, external tools are needed to edit soh on Switch to allow modding of it, and i had to find the solution by reading pages and pages of gbatemp posts. Can mention if the solution works for me at a later point. Otherwise, very informative, straight to the point, well done. Thanks for making it.
Thanks for letting me know, from what I read on their discord I had thought it worked just the same as the PC port. I will change the title.
@@MattyHews Love to see the update so soon, thanks! And yep, from what i've read you will need to extract OTR's to one of the game's OTR's and adjust .png files manually- I attempted an install into the 'mods' folder within the soh folder and theres no option to enable it in soh settings unfortunately. I'll be researching the process soon, will mention my findings if they're good.
PLEASE tell me you have a link to a guide on how to mod the switch version or a tutorial on it
@@shadowoftiger116 pretty sure it's exactly like modding the pc version except you're accessing the soh folder off your switch. Whatever mod was used here must've not worked with the switch version. I was able to mod the Android version the same way as the PC version.
@@MattyHewsThank you for your response! I Have tried adding a "mods" folder under soh on my switch as well as trying to simply place the .otr files in the same directory as the soh.otr file with no luck. I have only tried two mods however at this point
My game never created a mods folder and when I tried putting in mods the game freezes. Any ideas?
I'd need more info, what platform and version? What mod are you trying to use? Does your folder setup look similar to mine in the video? If you had to make the mods folder make sure it's all lowercase.
@@MattyHews I probably need a more current version. But I installed it the exact same way you did. I used a base oot pal file.
@@coopergaming4779 Yeah make sure you are on the latest version since it changed how texture mods work.

yes, same way as installing them for the PC version
