Great Walks, The Routeburn Track

My first hike outside of the United States and couldn't ask for a better hike. Started from the Divide spending the first night at Lake Mackenzie Shelter and the second night at Routeburn Falls Hut arriving at the Routeburn Shelter and car park on the third day. We hired a car return service at Glenorchy since we were traveling in a camper van that was more convenient to allow more control of our travel plans. First day was just perfect, clear blue sky, no wind, no bugs, just perfect! Second was very much the opposite, rain, wind, and more wind towards the higher elevation. Too bad didn't get to see kea the only alpine parrot in the world. Maybe next time, enjoy the video.

I am grateful that you enjoyed my video. The track is doable since the elevation gain/loss is not bothersome. What is challenging is booking the hike since it's very popular and thus difficult to receive.
