That was a fairly sizable chert to start with.. Lucky man.
nice pair
Good work. I probably would have given up on that rubik's cube.
Brother you hit that nail on the head! Rubix cube Fer sure.
Nice work my friend love the hardin looking style point(hope that is right)😎🤙and nice little arrowhead
Nice Biface, that became ....a knife!
I appreciate your knowledge. I have been trying to Knapp. My problem is finding chert.
In central Indiana
@@marvkirkham1102 there is lots of other options, glass, tile, toilet tanks, bottle bottoms for a start😄that will get you started until you can find stone, lots of hornstone in Indiana as well, one of my favorite materials to work
Well done with less than optimal material.
Excellent brother, here in the place where I live in the forests and hills there are many pre-Hispanic black obsidian arrows and points, I have several in my collection.Where do you live, do you find things like that? Greetings from Mexico ✌🏻
New York at the moment!
You just make it look so simple. It's not for me. I haven't made a point yet. gonna keep trying til I do.
Try on dollar tree glass bottoms. Once you learn to rub flakes then move to obsidian, once you learn on that move onto stone stone
Would our cave-dwelling ancestors be amazed that we can produce stone tools as they learned to do, our would they laugh at our attempts, thinking we still had a lot to learn to produce tools like they did?
Is a good question.
Nice save with a difficult piece of material.
