    I really appreciate how there's no music or anything it's just the sounds of bushcraft. I also appreciate the dedication to this project. I know you spent one to two hours on this thing and it turned out beautiful.

    Firstly, I just did this with bois d arc, Osage orange for my son's Christmas. Second, great job with the tools you have. You are to be highly commended for your skill and dedication. Thirdly, buy your self a Froe, Bucksaw and Draw knife. I would wager your efforts would be greatly rewarded with more advanced hand tools.

    A very nice creation. With what little experience I have, I noticed you cut toward yourself at one point - Watch out on that. But great hammer.

    • @SuperDeinVadda
      @SuperDeinVadda Рік тому +3

      The advice "don't cut toward yourself" applies mostly to novices that have little experience with the tools at hand. It's a simple rule that when followed prevents alot of accidents. But once you have mastered the tool and know the material you are working on it becomes less of a risk.
      In this situation he used the knife as a draw knife which is a pretty safe way to do it.

    Wouldn't you be better off cutting a section off for the head and putting a hole down the middle to friction fit a head onto it so you could have the end grain as your striking point?
