We have these trees planted everywhere in the city (Mumbai, India) and my mum just got some seed pods off a tree and made me plant it and now I'm boutta a have a lil tree myself!
Hopefully you're still around and you can answer my question, got the same tree and I haven't fertilized it overwatered it underwatered it I leave it be as if it was grown in the wild. Got it out of the woods big enough where you can pull it out of the ground by hand. About 4 ft, now it's 12 ft in the leaves of brown around the edge. It's along a ditch. So I know it's taproots has grown towards the water and the ditch stays dry most the time. Stays moist though. It's 5 ft away from the ditch. What do you think is going on with the leaves that are turning brown along the edges of the leaves?
It's just because it ages slowly. It's not like most trees. It's a freak of nature. That's why I'm stealing it from China they don't deserve it. Also the leaves act like insulin so if you ever know a diabetic who can't get they're med's...

Where are the seed pods located on the tree?

My Dad planted this from a seed and it’s huge now lol it has beautiful purple flowers and another that’s pink lol

How long did it take to grow huge?
That's actually impossible as far as Hong Kong orchids go. This tree is sterile. It produces no seed. Yet some claim this while selling seed's.
How do you propagate without seeds pods?!!
