Framing, Insulating, and Soundproofing your Van Conversion

We’ve teamed up with Brothers Make to bring you the ultimate van conversion guide! Let Matt and Jonny take you step-by-step through their journey of converting a Volkswagen Transporter T5 into an awesome small camper van. Focusing on maximising space and keeping things functional, the processes you’ll see in this series will be adaptable to any van no matter the shape or size!
In this episode we see the initial prep work with installing framing, insulation and sound deadening layers going into the van. Minimal tools are required for this step but a jigsaw, drill, planer, mallet and chisel will all be useful, and don’t forget your SuperJaws!
