It’s that we’re used to seeing them, and also, it’s considered extremely uncool to bother one, when they’re just trying to live their life. I noticed her in a glance, looked away real fast and didn’t say anything or stare, and I noticed peripherally that she ducked her head down like she was afraid I was going to talk to her. I thought, “Oh honey, you’re so not used to being in NY.”
I got stopped BY a celebrity while visiting NYC. August 2002, walking out of an apartment building to find a working set of NYPD Blue (Mark Paul Gosselaar years), filming. Henry Simmons stopped me to flirt with me and a few police extras did too. When I got handed a bottle of water, I was confused. Then I realized I was wearing an NYPD tank top from a gift shop and they all thought I was a part of the crew. A magazine reporter even stopped me to interview me. This 100% happened. Oh and I barely got back home that day, because Van Guard Airlines shut down the day of my return flight, and thousands of people were stranded. Also on the news. THAT was an eventful visit to NYC.
Kelly just seems like she’s waiting for him to stop talking so she can say something. Not sure if she was nervous or something tho that’s not really listening.
She’s definitely nervous. She’s like me - worrying that by the time the things over her point hasn’t been made. She really does talk a lot, but it’s never annoying.

I can totally understand how someone wouldn't recognize Kelly... it's hard to tell one elephant from another.
She is awesome but she still looks so much at the camera or q cards, shes a nice person to chat to but not a professional host.
