- "The Voice" coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton spoke with Access Hollywood about the upcoming season of the hit NBC competition series. Blake and Ariana also hilariously joke about their rivalry on the show. "I made the horrible mistake of falling for the puppy dog eyes," Blake joked adding, "She does that thing where you're like, 'Oh, she's so sweet, she's so nice, she's on my side.' And she's not!" "The Voice" premieres on Monday, Sept. 20 on NBC at 8/7c.

Interesting. Everybody forgets that Ariana is just as human as they are. She needs the same things as we need. They are intimidated and therefore they cant really connect. Its not easy for everyone to go to a new job. And even if she is a huge star, she needs all the same things as we all need. Connection, friendship, understanding. I think this is a real problem for people who are famous. Because everyone thinks you're a superhuman. And therefore it can be really lonely i imagine.
