Good job with all that wiring, I had a knee replacement done a little over 2 weeks ago so now I get to watch your videos for the last 2 weeks one after the other😊
Wow, I believe you can do just about anything. I suppose we all could do more if we would put our minds to it and apply ourselves. God Bless and have a great day!
The screws came pre dipped in the package!! They are showing no signs of rust at all. Thanks for watching and subscribing! And for your comments as well.
Paul on my Yamaha it said I had to plug two wires together that were taped up together to get trim to work on my Garmin. However, I did and trim gauge still didn’t work? So I just use the old analog gauge for it! Not sure about Zuks but maybe same?
I would never mount anything below the waterline without some kind of below water approved sealant. The number 1 reason used boats end up with rotten transoms. Other than that, well done
I’d probably just end up taking it to the marina. Too much tedious stuff and I feel like I would make a mistake somewhere and not be able to figure out what I did wrong
My c-10 stopped working, the pin inside the unit was corroded and so was the board. So I had to do something else because they don’t make them and to send in to repair is 500 to 600 dollars. So yes mine just fills the hole and so does the simrad. If you watch how to install a NEMA system I show you step by step how to check yours and how to install a Suzuki engine interface and fuel interface, both were needed so my Lowrance could read them.
Sorry Ryan, I didn’t see which video you were responding to. For the Lowrance to work or any new plotter you have you need to remove the broken c-10 from the backbone and install the interface that goes to the unit you purchase.
@@horsleyretirementadventure6443 Will the lowrance still give the same engine code and alarms that the C-10 would have done? Basically is the lowrance able to do everything the C-10 could and more?
@@ryanglover8668 you won’t get the engine alarms, you get everything else from hours to rpm’s fuel consumption and trim. No alarm, but if your engine beeps you just need to look up what that would mean. Now I will tell you that Suzuki does make a new gage that you can replace the C 10 with. I just didn’t want to deal either their gages anymore.
Oh WOW Paul, you're not only brave at tackling projects but you have a lot of patience. 😮😊

Wow, I sure hope you recover quickly!!
WOW Great job Paul. I believe you have GOD'S HAND on you Brother 😊❤ Love yall ❤😊
Thanks Mel, it keeps me busy

Thanks Pam! I like trying doing things myself it helps keeping my busy during these retirement days
If you did I didn't see it in the video but did you put silicone or any other sealant around the bracket screws ?
The screws came pre dipped in the package!! They are showing no signs of rust at all. Thanks for watching and subscribing! And for your comments as well.
Hey mate, looks like you put the mounting bracket to the transducer on the wrong way..
There’s only one way to mount the bracket
You're so handy! Hey....I have some solar powered motion activated lights I need to have mounted....lol!
lol too funny
Also do you get any reading whilst moving when the transducer is above the waterline....
Mine is in the water a good three inches and working well even when running. I’m enjoying the unit and it seems to be pretty accurate.

Thanks for the heads up! I just got the trim and everything working today.
Also you do need two wires! One set is for trim do maybe check your connections
That looks really good

Thanks!!! Good advice! The Sea Pro has no wood so I’m hoping it’s good to go but I’ll add some silicone in the holes when I get the change

It’s not for everyone! Thanks for watching and subscribing though! I appreciate your comments as well.
Would all of this still work if you completely removed the C-10? Or is yours not working and just there to fill the void?

What did you do with your old chartplotter?
It’s foggy so I have it in my garage, I am going to try and get the fog out but haven’t had time yet.
