A lot of bad selection of challenges and many double eliminations. There is only one dessert challenge in season 16. Which is baking a birthday cake. Which is very elementary and not giving a lot of learning experience to the contestants. (Please do not count the 3 people who forced to cook dessert in the coffee challenge)

Adam, Murt and Michael all feel like they'd actually excel in the Culinary world, if trained by the best. The rest of them are alright, but their personalities don't give that IT factor.
I agree most contestants are great cooks but fall apart cooking in a restaurant. I really hope the best for their future and that good opportunities open up cause of this show.

Damn fox being stingy this season. 4 episodes spent on auditions then we get essentially 4 double elimination episodes where only maybe 2 were warranted due to performance and the others were just overkill. Not to mention a 3 man finale I’m betting that’s gonna involve the last person being out after appetizers instead of being judged on a full 3 courses.
Im annoyed with the double eliminations or them choosing who goes home after team challenges.Whatever happened to pressure test where lowest go head to head. Judges have more influence this season

Marco Pierre White's feedbacks to the contestants are amazing and problem solving. The cooking time is 60 minutes. In MasterChef Australia season 12 episode 48 (back to win season). After one inch cube challenge taste. Brendan, Emilia, Reynold, and Tessa. They were making a dish with 5 basic flavours (bitter, salty, sweet, sour and umami) with limited panty. The cooking time is 60 minutes. (One hour). Not 45 minutes. The challenge is much more interesting in MasterChef Australia, the food quality is better, and the cinematography is better than MasterChef US.
