Ein riesiger Erfolg war unser letztes Konzert vor der Sommerpause „Rock in Symphony“ am Samstag (17.07.21) auf dem Volksplatz in Borna.
Die tollen Solisten Jasmin Graf und Daniel Splitt sowie die hervorragenden Musiker der Rockband (Georg Spiess, E-Gitarre; Arne Donadell, Keyboards; Jacob Müller, Bass; Dominique „Gaga“ Ehlert, Schlagzeug) rockten zusammen mit dem LSO an diesem Abend bei besten Sommerwetter.
Julia Zabolitzki moderierte das Programm.
Stephan König war es mit seinen Arrangements hervorragend gelungen, den Hardrock von „Let Zeppelin“ und „Deep Purple“ mit dem symphonischem Sound eines klassischen Sinfonieorchesters zu verbinden. Das dies so gut funktionierte, hat viele Besucher verblüfft und begeistert.

Never seen or heard such a stirring rendition. Just wouldn't have been the same without the guy in the pink shirt. Bravo!!🤓

Kashmir is far and away my fave Zeppelin song. I loved this version. I’m guessing the guy in the pink had mic. problems. It looked like he started singing at the beginning but was left standing there looking just a bit self conscious 😊

The singer is gorgeous! She's in perfect accordance with the tempo of the orchestra. Her superior and relaxed presentatiom deserves all due respect. Her performance reveals hidden aspects and nuances of the song. 🤩

The musicians did a great job. Didn’t really care for the arrangement. The vocalist has a good voice but I didn’t care for her interpretation. Overall an 8 out of 10.
I agree about the musicians. However, the singer was not good at all. A very average voice and her rendition was awful.

Nearly 10 years ago, I saw the Louisville Orchestra backing Randy Jackson of Zebra and his band doing The Led Zeppelin Experience. Far better than this.

Interesting. But perhaps overkill for this song. The original level of instrumentation gave a edgy drive, sort of like running in an F1 race car. This is more like doing it in a Hummer. Still worth hearing and many will disagree with me, but then music is subjective. Thanks for the video.

Naja, irgendwie fehlt die akustische Dramaturgie und Kraft des Originals und der Gesang klingt auch sehr eintönig.
Und der Kerl am Micro, der nur einen, gekünzelt, auf coole Socke macht, wirkt völlig fehlplatziert.

Well, the singer is rushing it, pretty average. Funny, but all these people and instruments, and 4 blokes did a hugely better job!

Kashmir e un capolavoro, la mia canzone preferita degli Zep, si presta benissimo all'orchestra però qui in certi punti non la trovo eccezionale 😏😏 e come se non bastasse la cantante la rovina ancora di più!! Troppi gorgheggi, troppi 👎🤮 secondo me Kashmir se fatta orchestrata dev'essere solo strumentale proprio per godere appieno dell'atmosfera del brano. P.S. le canzoni dei LED non vanno bene cantate da donne a mio parere, questo sempre 🙋
