You have not tried Oakley glasses then. The best in terms of comfort. Look is subjective. I've tried new wayfarers, they felt like chains on my face in comparison to Oakley Pitchman R.
I recently bought a pair of the new wayfarer tortoise prescription transition eyeglasses. Having been wearing eyeglasses for close to 40 and many cheap as well as very expensive frames. These RB are the most comfortable out of all by far.
This is the best review and info that I have found on the RB2132...I like the smaller size and that they don't have the slant that the originals have. Plus I am not a big person so smaller just fits the face better. I am going to get a pair of these. They are really classic and nice, and you look gorgeous in them. 👍👍
New Wayfarer's are great as long as they fit your head. I lucked out, the 131mm size fits me perfect and the B15 polarized lenses are beautiful to me. I wish though that they had more flexible arms like the Original's do, or if the hinges had a bit more flex or something. But I think Ray-Ban didn't want to take sales away from the mostly superior Originals (which I own 2 pairs of). Also, I would strongly recommend sticking to the polished finish New Wayfarer's - the matte finish easily gets damaged if not well taken care of and eventually it becomes sticky or the finish starts to wear off from heavy use from what I've seen. Anyway, as much as I love my Original's, the New version is still really good due to the lighter weight so I like them more for driving or long walks.
Sorry for the silly question, but is there a way to measure actual sun coverage? I own the new wayfares and I really like them but looking for something with slightly better coverage that is not an aviator style. I was looking at an older pair of Maui Jim spinnakers in one of your other videos but confused on the difference in coverage

tried these glasses and realized quickly they are more comfortable than my wrap a rounds. i believe they let more air in the sides keeping my face and lens dryer. i find myself wiping my face and glasses less on those hot days.

SERIOUS QUESTION: Why am I seeing the New Wayfarer RB2132 with the Ray-Ban logo name on the side temples BOTH embedded in the temples and also raised on the temples? Something feels very off about this for one model (RB2132). From reputable stores such as Sunglass Hut owned by Luxottica but no one can definitively tell me why this is. Both models look and feel very genuine. I’m very detail-oriented. Why are there two different designs for one model (RB2132)? This does not seem right, at all. Please explain.
I got mine at Sunglass Hut in the Translucent Grey and the logo is raised on the temples. I couldn't tell you why you're noticing 2 different types of logos. Possibly polarized lenses and non polarized. Or maybe it depends on the frame color?
Can you provide your head measurements, like temple to temple.. Not sure if you have done this or not , but I haven't seen it in your videos.. Not sure why sunglass reviewers don't do that, I would have that info in my descriptions or something. That way people can measure their own head and get a better idea of how closely it will look on them etc.
@@rossmc1982dear friend, 901L is the lightest model .Lens colour is also good,no extra coating on the lens. If you like darkest lense, choose matte 622 model.
@@ShadeReview ah okay. I went and looked on the web and they all describe 2001-2002 In order to compete with their modern glasses at the time which were wire frames and rap around so it was more light and more sporty.
I'll stick with the originals. That long wraparound look, looks strange. Like Morpheus from the matrix. That's my personal preference though, and I have a bigger head.

They look butt ugly to me. Like cheap beach sunglasses you buy at a drugstore. The original Wayferers are the epitome of cool, I love that kind of agressive look the angular and tilted frames give them. Great review though, love your channel.
The amount of views and comments on this vid considering the subscriber base shows peoples unbridled enthusiasm for this "updated" version🙄. I was appalled when I saw them in stores. Basically changed the originals in any way possible to make this new version ugly and also yes an obvious cheapening of materials and construction as well (I'm not one to exaggerate). I went to five stores trying to find the originals and none of the employees tried to sell me the new ones because apparently they had integrity & they knew the new ones were shit.
Out of my last 10 videos this video actually ranked #3 for views in first 5 days. I usually get around 1,000 views per video with in the first week. Most of my views come from people who are not subscribed and it takes a few years to really get a lot of views. Thanks for you input
I disagree. First: materials can vary depending on what you choose - see rayban website for choices. For example matt frame will look cheep, gloss frame will look awesome. Second: old wayfarers did not fit my head shape and new wayfareres do.

Just bought these. I stopped using ray bans for awhile, but my girlfriend has a pair of these (prescription glasses) and I love them!
This is the best review and info that I have found on the RB2132...I like the smaller size and that they don't have the slant that the originals have. The look of these is more unique and trendy and is less cloned as compared to the original wayfarer so you dont see if as much as the original

I have them in polarised version and also two RB2140. They are good but RB2140 is still the Best and KING of Wayfarer style.

its very easy to tell if they are fake. Look at your receipt at the price. If the price is lower than $130, they are definitely fake.

upto 90% people fits STANDARD size.If you have a very large head go for large one.

Go for RB 2132 901L glossy frame is easy to clean and looks best.
I’ve had mine around 5/6 years and they still look great without much cleaning etc just generally looked after :) also really comfortable
