I wouldn’t say hxh will never come back. Bleach tybw and xmen 97 proved long hiatus do pay off. Companies are taking notice. The issue is madhouse isn’t the same as it used to be. This is not a seasonal yet had seasonal pacing and art and animation. It helps that hxh has few fights. Many on madhouse went to kappa or other studios. Hxh won’t be like bleach where freelancer kids grew with it and have nostalgia. Hxh is still a harder series to get into as it’s slower to start and not just hype all the time. So overall it’s a harder sell for today’s TikTok gen where hype matters over story. Yet we forget shows once it’s over.
