116 is the best episode in the series imo

Well killua knowing darts is not that random because the Zoldycks are assassins, they have to learn to throw small projectiles to kill their targets from afar. Plus it's literally Illumi's ability to throw darts (needles)

Also something I think you guys missed about these episodes, was essentially to highlight the untapped potential of killua without the needle illumi placed in his head.
Better decision making, taking more risks and unhinged, that’s an extremely dangerous side especially for his age.

Technically all the ants are siblings, so it's not like there's anyone else they could be romantic with, not that it makes any sense anyways because ants are only meant to mate with the queen in order for it to lay tons of eggs.
Killua against those fish ants is giving Kaname (bull's eye) from Yu Yu Hakusho. Togashi clearly loved that power move 🎯
Killua being my favorite character makes these episodes so fun plus seeing Ikalgo, oh man. It's still set up but it's getting juicy

And it's clear as day that Hunter x Hunter was inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Especially as they got deeper and deeper into Nen. Basically JJBA now. A better JJBA though.

Togashi has literally said Akira Toriyama was his biggest inspiration for writing manga, so its not surprising to see a little bit of crossover. I see it more in this arc than any other anime arc ive seen so far. Some could be coincidence for sure, i just like to point it out if i see a similarity because I love Dragon Ball. Its in no way to discredit Togashi and his writing, its just a fun talking point.
@@dandansfu Insane take. A lot of Togashi's work builds upon Toriyama's. He pays homage a ton in this arc to this, stylistic choices mostly. In a very simplistic way, this whole arc is Togashi's take on DBZ's (and other similar shounen) power-leveling.

these past few ep are some of my least fav in whole show 😅. ik im gonna get hate but didnt enjoy them much
fair but someone who watched version 1999 and wa shungy for a continuation that happened only 10 years later is really a different story and enjoys every scene from this anime. for i have been waiting for hunter since ova greed island final that i watched in 2009 to the point i lost hope in anime until i came back in 2018 to discover that there was a new version
