Ben, I enjoy your sessions including Kristin, especially this one! I fell in “banjo-love” with Kristin at a banjo workshop at a “Bear-On-The-Square” annual event in Dahlonega, Ga. in 1999 or 2000 when she was banjoist for Sally Jones and the Sidewinders. She is not only a great banjo player, she is a wonderful person and a great banjo teacher. Her Steve Martin awards plus several IBMA/SPBGMA awards attest to her banjo prowess. Jim Joyce, Jupiter, Fl.
I live in South Carolina and it's very hard to find anyone to play with. There are a few church groups that I've played with but they fizzle out too. You would think SC would be full of bluegrass groups but.... NOT SO!
Having the bass player lead you around is an awesome idea for a camp exercise. Have everyone else close their eyes, and play along!

This was HUGELY helpful! Thank you Kristin.
This may seem basic to some but, I found this to be extremely valuable. Thanks for posting!!!!!
Following this since I stumbled upon it. From Malaysia where Banjo-playing is perhaps, close to none-existent. Here I am learning on my own thru’ YT.
Wonderful video and instructions folks!!!
Thanks so much 😊
Great video! Thanks for covering this.
Really great stuff, thank you for posting it
Love this! Hope you can bring a cabin camp to the Maryland/Delaware area. We are banjo starved here!
Excellent! Thanks for sharing
How did you know I was watching this? It appears this video was directed to me. Thanks for the help.
My chording hand is cemented to the first 3 frets of the guitar neck! I don't have a clue beyond that part of the neck.

This is awesome, thank you! What's the microphone you're using?
Kristin was wearing a Jesus shirt, I just know it, but I want to know what it says....
Just do something.
