A 1998 season filled with disappointment, had some bright spots. Especially with this classic, where the Steelers dominated for THREE quarters before having some late mishaps. Still, a win is a win. Considering the Packers were at the height of their success with Brett Favre, this was a good win.

We much appreciate your hard work. You deserve every subscriber! Thanks for all the throw backs! Go Steelers!
A lot of fun watching these old Steelers games.
I swear that's all I do at work is go down memory lane I been a fan since the late 80's so I don't really count the steel curtain Era meaning we are 2-2 in the SuperBowl since I been alive and my favorite QB of all time is 2-1 in the SuperBowl yes sir #PS4L# currently in the process of getting my Steelers Wall Of Fame together for this upcoming season which I'm so excited about
I love it, I'll watch old games that I know we won and get mad at a fumble or int haha
@@clawgod3awkawk Yeah me too. That’s means you’re a real fan.
@@clawgod3awkawk get mad all over again like it's a live game 🤣 me too #PS4L#
Thank you!!! WIN, LOSE OR TIE..... STEELERS FAN UNTIL I DIE! GO BLITZBURG!!
I remember this game mainly for Jamain Stephens and how he shut down Reggie White. Anytime Chris Oldham was blitzing on 3rd down, you knew it could be a big play for the defense! Thank you for all of these videos!
I was at this game. Thanks for making me feel old.
As a Steelers fan. I'm still wanting to go to a NFL game, especially a Steelers game. GO STEELERS💛🖤
@@CheesusChristBC201 wait your Jesus Christ. I thought you were at all the games.
@@kyleborum1500 Not that time
@@kyleborum1500 I watch them, but didn't have time to go in person
Hey Thanks Rams for giving up on The Bus. Black&Gold
I remember that day of this game because I had a great day with alot of my family that are all past on now but this was one of the last Steelers games we all got to watch together...
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS ONE👍
Damn do I miss this time frame
The Steelers were happy and Minnesota was happy and I was pretty happy too! These memories keep me happy, thanks Yinz! Here We Go!!
Los Steelers mi equipo de mis amores. siempre a sido un placer verlos jugar.
W game also W channel 🖤💛
Payback from that painful SuperBowl loss 😭😭😭
This a few weeks ahead of the terrible Thanksgiving day coin flip game, when the wheels came off.
1998 was a forgotten collapse. The steelers were 7-4, and lost their last 5 games, including being swept by the 3-13 bengals
It's crazy how great the Steelers have been at home on Monday Nights. Haven't lost since 1991.
It's kind of a shock how well the offense played in this game, considering how poorly they finished the season. They ended up ranking 28th in points and was the reason why we lost the last five games of the season
Just gotta say you do a PHENOMENAL job of keepin' us Yinzers & Stillers fans occupied 'til August, ha. 🖤💛👍✌️
Man @Itz Yinzburgh... You pic some amazing games to recap. This was the first game I remember recording on VHS and watching over and over to recap. Kordell was phenomenal this night and had the goods but this year just ended horribly for him and the team.
I remember this game! This was a lot of fun, you got some of everything you might expect from the Steelers of the late 90s. Kordell “slash” Stewart wasn’t always appreciated, but he could make some electric plays like 4:00. We see some early Hines Ward plays here too! These were fun games, in the upcoming years, the team lost some of its edge but games like this one show the potential this Steelers team could bring any given night!
im a greenbay fan and i remember this very well. i was almost 10 lol.
I was 18 n just starting school at Pitt lol
Kicking some Brett Favre butt!!!!
7:55
Get used to seeing this for the next 15 years.
Back when the Steelers could game plan.
Wow..Faneca wearin 65? I forgot about that!
How I miss Cowher, Great Coach!
What a masterclass in defense. Jesus.
Hines ward’s beginning , along with a lot of other faces that would help build cowhers 2000s run.
Super amazing
Great game! The bus, Hines, slash, Gildon (had his shirt changed to Harrison) miss these days.
I’ll never forget playing a HS baseball game at Three Rivers (also indoor soccer on Artificial turf). It was amazing to play in a big stadium but the field sucked!! Playing outfield the ball bounced high, moved fast and if you dived, slide tackled you got great rug burns (no doubt older guys like me who played on it understand lol) My HS grass football/soccer field n baseball dirt/grass out field was a lot better.
Edit: also lightly tore all my knee ligaments playing indoor soccer playing on this. Tried to make a move, my entire body went one way as my left foot stayed and heard 3 pops in my knee. Went down.
The graphics are hilarious 😂
Three rivers stadium 🏟 great memories
These were the real Steelers. And they were a young team at that.
If this is 2022, the Steelers are getting a few taunting penalties for those DX Groin Chops
Nice. Boy I’d sure like to collect a closet full of literal throwback jerseys. A Fu (not even gonna try the full name) would be epic.
#45/Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala. Graduated from Utah, prepped @ St. Louis h.s.(HI), same as Marcus Mariota, Tua/Taulia Tagovailoa
I believe the 2021 loss to the Packers was the first loss to Greenbay during the regular season in the 21st century.
How do you get to the 6 and not come away with 6 pts?
I miss ward 😢 and the big smile
I was at this game
When Kordell was allowed to be himself, he was good. When he was put in a box to be a pocket passer, he was not as good. It just wasn't his style.
Do it a lot
Hines killed that dude 86 phsyco ward
