This was also the first day Bill Cowher joined James Brown, Dan Marino, Shannon Sharpe, and Boomer Esiason on CBS’ The NFL Today.
Coach Cowher is still working on The NFL Today
Crazy lol
Remember kids, The Steelers have had three head coaches in 50 years. Why? Because they’re The Pittsburgh Steelers.
The years before Noll on the other hand...
@@Jerseys4Hope Those years didn't exist....We do not speak of them
And you do a good job with it too. I honestly didn't know😂😂😂
By the end of Coach T's extension, it'll be 3 HC's in 55 years.
God damn will I miss watching big number 7 on sundays. Sure he’s not considered the greatest of all time, but he’s definitely one of them. First Philip Rivers, then Drew Brees, now Big Ben. My childhood quarterbacks are all coming to an end and it’s genuinely sad. Peace number 7
As a Texans fan, I’ll miss watching Ben on Sunday, definitely one of the best ever
Ben got 2 R cases
@@Error-di8qw yea, people tend to forget that
He was defiant, there’s no doubt about that
@@Error-di8qw he didn't take no for a answer on the field either.. he's definitely resilient and one of the best
Let’s be honest, we’ll miss seeing Ben Roethlisberger play every week no matter what you may think of him.
Facts
ehhh Im sure there's still a lot of salt from their AFC North rivals
Not really Big Ben is eh to most ppl outside of Pittsburg
Yea bens a legend
@@cavelmordica3645 name 5 legendary moments
Big Ben of the past makes me believe that he will eventually retire at seasons end
We had to say goodbye to Philip Rivers , Drew Brees all of last season , and now it’s Big Ben’s turn , it’s hard to believe that these QBs are now gonna be gone from the league , so hard to grasp :(
ecspecially 04 qb class..
At least we'll have Brady for another 10 years or so
@@pigskin1287 Yeah a lot of young QBs to look forward to right now. That Brady kid looks like he could be around a minute.
@bruce lau • don't forget about Ryan Fitzpatrick
The 2007 Browns were so good! If only they didn’t lose to Cincinnati in Week 16, then they would’ve made the playoffs that season
The year after Bill Cowher retired from coaching and the Mike Tomlin regime in Pittsburgh began
yes, that is what the title says.
Unfortunately
From the first time I ever watched the Steelers 4th grade Cardinals vs Steelers in the SuperBowl I have loved Big Ben. Thank you so much for making a Ohio kids childhood complete. TO ANOTHER ERA!!!!!!
They are Amazing duo’s
Imma miss Ben😭
except for 2002 and 2020... The best browns season since coming back in 1999 with derek Anderson making pro bowl timeflies!!
Back when the steelers actually put fear in opponents
They will this year now that they have George Pickens
Throwback Game ideas for this week:
Chiefs/Broncos 1994 Week 6 MNF (Elway vs Montana)
Washington/Giants (1986 NFC Championship Game)
49ers/Rams 2001 Week 13 (Battle of 9-2 Teams)
Chargers/Raiders 2002 Week 14 (Battle of 8-4 Teams)
They’ve already done the elway vs Montana throwback game (maybe a few times)
@@slimischillin7753 No they haven’t
@@chrisuncleahmad Happy New Year To You And Your Family.
Ben will always be my qb
Happy New Year Steelers Nation
Kevin Harlan games are the best!
Ben Roethlisberger #7 (2004-2022)
Hines ward hit the soldier boy dance on the first touchdown 😂😂
Y’all see how Ben was moving!! You’ll think he was Lamar Jackson
Didn't expect this upload.
Love your videos even though I'm a patriots fan. Random I know lol
@@Royston1996 Thank you!
I believe it started in 04’ when Maddox left injured he stepped up and never looked back.
Charlie Frye had his last game as a Cleveland Brown on this day. He was later traded to Seattle and Derek Anderson took over at QB and had a career season. Frye is now the Quarterbacks coach in Miami.
How about also upload the game Ben filled in for Tommy Maddox against Baltimore in 2004?
This was a rough day for Cleveland but they had a pretty good season afterwards. If this is the last ride for Ben it's been a good one.
It's gonna be weird not seeing number 7 out there
Browns fan here... remember this day well, got kicked outta the bar by halftime lol
Pittsburgh Steelers Against Cleveland Browns From The 70s 80s And Early 90s ☺🏈Thanks For Uploading
This is when it was still a man's game. Score be damned, they knocked the snots out of each other!
Where's the HD broadcast?
Ben and Mike are ten years apart from each other age wise
Remember when the Steelers defense never gave up more than 28 points in a season now idk wtf is going on
Great shirt Tomlin wore. Also crazy Cleveland didn’t go for 2
Big Ben/Mike Tomlin's era begins kicking Cleveland Brown's ass.
Four penalties on one play, is quite the accomplishment.
If anyone could pull it off, it would be Cleveland.
I’m watching this game and I’m thinking…so many legendary players and the Cleveland Browns in one game. Man I feel old.
This was the same day Kevin Everett had his life change during the Bills Broncos game.
What genius decided to start a season with Frye as the starting QB?! No wonder why the Browns have been a joke for decades......
Big ben has lost just 4 times to the browns
The timing of this upload is a little suspect
Man Big Ben in his prime really made me believe that one day he would’ve eventually retire in his career one day
One of the most overrated ever
Underrated
Who's here from the Tomlin zero loss season meme?
16:44 looks like a slant by a receiver instead of an interception 😂
Hines Ward doing the superman out there
How many QB seasons/careers did James "Headhunter" Harrison end? Glad that shit is out of the NFL more than it used to be. Still not as dirty as that Bill Romanowski shit from the late 90s tho.
Look at what Tomlin inherited now look what it's become it's freaking sad
1:10 vintage Browns
I Love You NFL Throwback
😂😂😂 Rookie Wright thought he was a Referee. 😂😂😂
Wow Charlie Frye was so bad in this game that he was traded to Seattle afterward.
Beating those tough Browns lol padding those stats all those years
I love my Steelers treating the Browns like shit
Ever Since Mike Start Coaching Ben They Never Had A Losing Season That’s What I Like 🖤💛🐐
Only the Browns could commit four penalties in one play.🤣🤣🤣
Love in the opening package that they show Harrison doing a German on a Bengals player
Oh Tomlin is really going to miss big ben
4 penalties on a bobbled punt…ok
The Good Ol Days
Browns were terrible
Top 20 ever
God i miss him i like Pickett but look how terrible our offense is now. Y'all all hated so much bens last two years.
If the Jags somehow upset the colts n Steelers beat ravens to clinch 7th seed, great chance to win the super bowl, amazing momentum if it happens
16:48 a very rare sight. An Ike Taylor interception
Surprise he didn’t drop it like he usually do
BEN GOT 2 R CASES
love Liverpool but Ben is one the most qb ever
@@Stev4e897 Ben is a R boy. He had 2 SA cases.
@@Error-di8qw and Liverpool is in 3rd place 😆
It's insane to think that Mike Tomlin is only the THIRD ever head coach in Steelers history!
Well only the third one since 1969 but not entire Steelers history. Other then Mike Tomlin, Bill Cowher, and Chuck Noll all the other Steelers head coaches are forgettable.
Lots of bad coaches before Noll. Before 1970 the Steelers back then were basically what the Browns are now.
I thought Charlie Frye was going to be that guy for Cleveland, then Derek Anderson came along.
