Flea Markets have often times been featured in different UA-cam Videos. It has always been said that "One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure." This mantra has been thought by many who attend flea markets and rummage sales hoping to find something that has been overlooked by it's original owner. You even hear and read stories about people finding rare items at a rummage sale or flea market only to take it to an auction house and learn that it is actually worth thousands of dollars.
In today's video, we step outside our comfort zone a bit and hunt for Pokemon Cards at a local flea market. With hundreds of vendors and stands to look through, I searched all over to find rare Pokemon Cards...and I was successful. Not only did we find Pokemon Cards, but we found a lot of them. These Pokemon Cards ranged from Vintage to Modern and we even found some sealed items that were you don't see very often. Have you ever had luck finding Pokemon Cards at Flea Markets? As a buyer and seller at flea markets here are my tips. Always negotiate for an item you don’t want before trying for what you want. Change the deal up, say for Pokémon cards ask for their best price on the whole boxes then on multiple boxes instead of a few cards they don’t want to load their items back up they want to sell. Most importantly talk to them because they might not have what you want with them but would bring it next time. And get there early because the stealeo dealeos go quick lol
And for Pokémon cards the card stores arnt going to give you a good deal compared to the guy selling used toasters and dressers out of his van
Danny! I loved this content from you, it was awesome to watch what you chose and why, and seeing your pickups. I’m a filmmaker here in San Diego, I wanted to suggest a couple things to maybe help improve your next one! (Which I hope to see soon!) 1. A gimbal for your phone, they’re cheap and effective, it will help your videos feel a little more stable, so when you’re fast forwarding, the tilting left and right up and down won’t feel so disorienting for the viewer! 2. I know you said you’re not so comfortable with filming everyone, maybe a chest strap and a GoPro might do the trick! (warning) GoPros look amazing in sunlight but struggle in lower light. Phone cameras really shine in that way, most of the modern phones do great video in lower light situations. 3. When you went inside the light got a little low and your video got a little dark. Separate that section of the video in the edit and bring up the brightness or the contrast a little so it’s a little easier for us to see. Thanks dude this helps a lot! I actually brought my camera to record at this one. I have a canon rebel so it’s pretty bulky. Would recommend just using my iPhone at things like this?
I had the same thought of GoPro with chest strap because then you’re hands free and not carrying a camera/phone recording everything

To be honest the 2 for $5 table wasn't bad. Those Sun/Moon Dollar General mini packs are usually around $5-$10, and Sword&Shield base set sleeved packs are like $6+ now. Personally I have even done pretty well selling at my garage sale, so I should try vending at a flea market some time.

I been selling at a flea market for like 14 years now and it's great for a side hustle, $30 a Sunday and you make money and friends and long time customers
I have sold at a large permanent flea market as well and have had some crazy weekends. But there's also the downside of not even making booth fees in dead weekends

I sold at a flee market during my high school years from 2001-2005 I sold every Sunday and made around $48k a year while in high school I sold Pokémon and yugioh

btw, Maxwell street is a reference to the legendary Maxwell street market that was in Chicago back in the day. It was riddled with stolen goods from junkies. My uncle was a vendor there and the guy was not legit.

I think at thar price for table is not bad maybe doing it twise a month would help you get the company out there and would help you move of some product. Just the company name being out there to those that may not know about the Coloseum will know after that.
