I want to get into Critical Roll, they are fun, but it is far to long. I don't have hours to watch a video. This is fun and of a consumable size. Also as a solo player it is great examples of play!
You've outdone yourself again, Trevor! This was one epic ship battle! Here's hoping Mythic decides this campaign needs a legendary fleet engagement, because I would love to see that!
This episode was pure, unadulterated awesome! The ship-to-ship battle was the nail-biting stuff of legend. I really like that house rule of creating a random event after three rounds of stalemate. I'm going to have to remember that one.
I know I’m late but that unpainted mini fits Veil. I imagine her to be clad in white, assassin’s creed style with a hood covering her eyes like a veil (hence the name).
Ah! I wish you had written this comment right after the episode aired…. White would have been a very cool choice for her (one that, alas, I didn’t consider when I eventually painted her leather/black!)
Drama!! And I wrote that 5 mins in, but I had no idea it was going to get this intense! One of the best episodes ever! …and I need to find that random body part D12 at my local supplier!
That was epic! I just started a semi-historic Savage Worlds solo campaign set in the Kalmar Union in the 15th century based loosely around the life of Erik of Pomerania. I opened up with a Naval Chase and boarding combat similar to this! It started with the standard 9 card SWADE chase layout. Once my pirates caught up to their prey, I switched to the 4x4 card dogfight chase rules. Then when we boarded, I ran it as group combat where their crew of extras were one extra versus my pc and his crew as a one wild card. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!
So, I discovered your channel 4 days ago and here I am all caught up on the seasons. Its going to be weird to have to wait for episodes to be released.
once again another amazing episode. the beauty of running a narrative simply relying on dice and improvisation this take alot of skill to make it entertaining. i appreciate in season 3 we have more " toys " on the table. the narrative still outshine most content i watch :) please keep up the good work i truly enjoy this and have recommend this for many new comers who wish to try out pen and paper RPG
Thanks! But please remember: this is very much a *produced show*; it’s in no way indicative of what an actual real-time solo play session looks like. Don’t let my fancy editing and sound effects deter you from enjoying your own role playing adventures, solo or otherwise. Just start, take your time with it, and have fun with the outcomes!
@@MeMyselfandDieRPG Thanks Trevor! Honoured to get an response! Fine, if you insist! I'll even try a game using dominion rules as they looks VERY cool, (i love the roll low.. But also High! Mechanic) and it may help me get out of my 5e habitual mindset. Keep up the great work!
I love this adventure, and I'm super excited to see where it goes next. Poor Edbert. Maybe there might be a need for the rest of the season for Simon and Arn to gear up for a rescue mission.
Wow, that was absolute chaos! Lucky you seem to have had an extra coffee this time to handle it all :D Love the wound die, but it's gonna leave Edbert as Swiss cheese by season's end...
I absolutely loved the zoom in and out from the battle to the fight with the assassin to the crew... And may we take one second to appreciate the great ship models that Trevor has? Those bring me back the memoriew of the pirate Lego kits that I used to have as a child!
Oof, what a brutal episode! Looking forward to learning more about the Order, though, and seeing how -- or if! -- Edbert manages to scrape by, now that things have gotten so much worse!
Fantastic! It will be interesting to see if Capt Nikola holds Edbert responsible for all this, or the Purifying Flame, or both... if he lives through all this
Beyond exciting and out the other side... somewhere between manic and chaotic haha... LOVED it. The inclusion of the sea battle was terrific (pleaaaaaase post up your rules for that). Oh my goodness what a pickle, what will happen NOW I wonder? I really felt the sense of things happening throughout that you had no idea were going to transpire the way they did. I could almost hear the thoughts and see it on your face going "NOW what am I going to do?" hahaa. LOVED it.
I have never been so enthralled with ttrpg shows as much as this show. It's wild to think I'm just finding this. The randomness and just going with the results is amazing. Just you talking through the results and forming the story is so brilliant. Excellent work. It has inspired me to make charts for my future games!
Holy SMOKES, so much plot buildup in the first six minutes! Had my eyes nearly bugging out of my skull. So far loving the nautical theme and world of Dominion this season -- and as always, appreciative of your enthusiasm within your adventures, especially with all the mad twists and turns the dice give you.
Its kind of cool that you didn't have to kill Veil. The Order of the Purifying Flame hunts undead so she's kind of a good guy too, just opposed to Edbert for now.
I feel like Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer were involved in producing this episode. I'm waiting for a character like Cap'n Jack Sparrow to make an appearance!
Another great episode! I know the season just started, but this is my favorite episode by a country mile as a huge sucker for ship battles. Next week can't come soon enough!
Late to the party, but still pretty excited! To be honest, Trevor, your show is the only one that brings out such strong emotions in me. This episode was intense! When I was watching the first episode, I thought maybe you were done with the old characters after the end of Season 2. But then I heard THAT accent and I was like HELL YEAH.
i was really into binging critical role, and that’s still great, but i have put it on hold because this series, all your shows, are just incredible! The accents, the characters, all the intense plots, i love it so much! And your enthusiasm makes me excited to finish work and come home and watch the next episode! Once i’m finished watching this season i’m going to donate to you on patreon!! :D
Another awesome episode!, where did you find those large ships, and are those small ship models from Sails of Glory? I like your ship rules, I would buy a copy of those rules. :)
Excellent episode. I need to watch the “how to play Dominion” episode again because I get so lost in the rolls. The story is always great though and I’m trying to figure out how to bring that kind of tension and energy to my solo-play sessions.
Those naval battle rules seemed authentically DR-esque! I keep wondering if Arne will drop in on us. Wonder if he had time to journey south and pick up on and chase after Edbert’s predicament yet. Or if he’s just drinking wine and hunting with Simon and trying to get him to let him take the magic crossbow out for a whirl just this once.
Veil's introduction! It is WILD to me that all four main characters of all four seasons so far were randomly generated people. Like Trevor just said "We need to know who this is" and rolls on some random tables then months later they're starring in their own season like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Recently found your channel. For someone relatively new to this hobby and aspiring to be a GM and play DnD, would you say this is a good way to practice the rule system, as well as to practice improvisation and role-play?
not gonna lie i look forward to this more than i look forward to CR and i mean it
For real.
This is the way (only way) 😏
I want to get into Critical Roll, they are fun, but it is far to long. I don't have hours to watch a video.
This is fun and of a consumable size. Also as a solo player it is great examples of play!
100% agreement.
Tried to do critical role just cant get into it but this show is awesome
"How the tides have turned.. literally! "
Love it.
I'm so far behind. Epic sea battle. I loved this episode.
I know this is a solo show but man, Trevor must be the best GM ever. Would pay to play with him, haha.
I'd love to see what he would do with a game like Mork Borg.
I’m not going to remember Covid, I am going to remember MM&D. Thanks Trevor for getting us through!
I felt this comment ❤️
'Epicness' reaches 20 on a scale of 10! I'm printing a copy of the rules and taking out my pirate miniatures!
You've outdone yourself again, Trevor! This was one epic ship battle! Here's hoping Mythic decides this campaign needs a legendary fleet engagement, because I would love to see that!
Those two Extreme Yes's in the first five minutes really set this episode alight!
This episode was pure, unadulterated awesome! The ship-to-ship battle was the nail-biting stuff of legend. I really like that house rule of creating a random event after three rounds of stalemate. I'm going to have to remember that one.
Same!
trevor is like: OMG THIS IS TERRIBLE 😂🤣😂🤣
15:00
And here I was thinking it was the most dreary Monday ever, not anymore :)

One of the best episodes ever!
…and I need to find that random body part D12 at my local supplier!
The most engaging TTRPG show. Hands down.
The initial reveal about the enemies and the whole battle was so EPIC! This is getting better and better with each episode, I love it!
i would buy a MM&D shirt that said "now, here's the thing!" haha
WOW, that was well narrated, a great episode. Nothing turned out as expected. Makes it even more fun to watch.
This show made me try some solo gaming. Got my Mythic GM Emulator and Tiny Dungeon 2E RPG ready to go!
I have the Mythic GM Emulator side-by-side with the video as I watch.
Omg, I love these naval fight rules. We're getting ready to start a sea faring adventure and those are super handy.
This episode went a direction that was totally unexpected! And now we wait to see how this predicament resolves. Another great episode!
Wow! Poor Edbert can never catch a break. Excellent episode as always, Trevor!
Amazed at how I missed not having an episode last week, now I'm so looking forwad to today's. What will be in store for our hero.

I love everything about this, the fast paced story-telling, the twists, the world building, I'm so hooked
God Trevor what did i just watch ?! Amazing painted minis, tight scenario and unbearable cliffhanger ! Man you went all in thank you !
once again another amazing episode. the beauty of running a narrative simply relying on dice and improvisation this take alot of skill to make it entertaining. i appreciate in season 3 we have more " toys " on the table. the narrative still outshine most content i watch :) please keep up the good work i truly enjoy this and have recommend this for many new comers who wish to try out pen and paper RPG
One word, EPIC. 🏴☠️🦜⚔
This is the only show on UA-cam that I actually look forward to each new episode. Amazing stuff!!
That ship battle was epic! The back and forth had me on the edge of my seat the whole time 😁
Love this series.
Just, such fun.. Keep meaning to do my own solo game, but almost afraid to do so because it cannot possibly be as good as this!

Keep up the great work!
The perspective shift from ship to ship cannon battle to a close up of the boarding fight was brilliant. My mind took a moment to adjust.
I love this adventure, and I'm super excited to see where it goes next. Poor Edbert. Maybe there might be a need for the rest of the season for Simon and Arn to gear up for a rescue mission.
AH! This had me at the edge of my seat! I don't think Simon or Arn were either in such dire straits. Edbert's got it rough!
I always love your show! Excellent work once again! I enjoyed your ship combat system- very exciting!
I thought Edbert was going to die! What an episode!
Wow, that was absolute chaos! Lucky you seem to have had an extra coffee this time to handle it all :D Love the wound die, but it's gonna leave Edbert as Swiss cheese by season's end...
Great episode Trevor, the ship battle was fantastic and felt so dramatic and real. I loved it.
Man, Ed got pummeled this episode. Hopefully the Dice gods can save him form being burned at the stake.
Frikkin' awesome! You are such a good story teller.
I absolutely loved the zoom in and out from the battle to the fight with the assassin to the crew... And may we take one second to appreciate the great ship models that Trevor has? Those bring me back the memoriew of the pirate Lego kits that I used to have as a child!
A nail-biter episode, Trevor. I really got into the ship to ship combat. Another fantastic episode, as always.
Oof, what a brutal episode! Looking forward to learning more about the Order, though, and seeing how -- or if! -- Edbert manages to scrape by, now that things have gotten so much worse!
Wow!
Amazing episode! So full of action and story building!!!
What an exciting episode, and so well done! (And I really loved the canon smoke too.) Great job Trevor!!
Outstanding! I can't stop watching your episodes. Always keeps me on the edge of my seat. Well done! :)
Fantastic!
It will be interesting to see if Capt Nikola holds Edbert responsible for all this, or the Purifying Flame, or both... if he lives through all this
Always brightens up my Mondays! 🙂
The rules system's name says it all: Dominion _Rules!_
What a ridiculously tense and fun episode! Great work Trevor, see you next week!
Absolutely captivating episode! Can't wait for next week!
I think I love this as much as I love anything on UA-cam.
best series in the youtube :)

What a great ship battle! Amazing work as always, Trevor. :)
Outstanding as always. This season is mind blowingly good.
I need an Edbert tshirt in my life.
Eres un auténtico maestro. Sin palabras.
Gracias. Me alegro de que lo disfrutes.
(Sure hope Google Translate works...) ;)
This is definitely one of the best episodes in terms of production value, great job Trevor
Amazing episode, love the ship chase...
Have the naval combat rules been posted somewhere?
Yes! On our website MeMyselfAndDie.com
That was effin' awesome!!! Great battle!!! Can't wait to see what happens!
Holy SMOKES, so much plot buildup in the first six minutes! Had my eyes nearly bugging out of my skull.

Wow! This episode was damn good. Easily one of my favorites across all seasons
I feel like Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer were involved in producing this episode. I'm waiting for a character like Cap'n Jack Sparrow to make an appearance!
Man, this episode really emphasized the "die" part of the title. Those rolls went brutal real quick.
Another excellent episode Trevor!
I loved the James Grout impression for the captain!
Another great episode! I know the season just started, but this is my favorite episode by a country mile as a huge sucker for ship battles. Next week can't come soon enough!

Nothing but excitement, crazy fun episode and your ship combat rules sound like a blast! Pun intended
Still the best thing on tv!
oh my god lol im so excited for the next episode
Absolutely epic! A real nail biter all the way through!

One of the best! What a great start to the week! Thanks as always. 👏
Wow! What a episode!
very excited!!!
Oof! Great ending. Slowly making my way to season 4, but savoring every episode. Thanks, Trevor.
I caught the premiere I'm so excited!
Awesome stuff, really enjoying your channel.
On the edge of my seat for the whole episode. Pure gold!
great episode! now i'm remembering the wooden ships & iron men plays, far time ago...
Another awesome episode!, where did you find those large ships, and are those small ship models from Sails of Glory? I like your ship rules, I would buy a copy of those rules. :)
Love what you are doing! Entertaining. Maybe next season you can play using Palladium Fantasy?
Watched Ironsworn then went back to season 1 but now im here watching. I absolutely love this
Amazing episode! Have you considered using the Mythic tabletop deck instead at some point, Trevor?
Excellent episode.
I need to watch the “how to play Dominion” episode again because I get so lost in the rolls.
The story is always great though and I’m trying to figure out how to bring that kind of tension and energy to my solo-play sessions.

Another great episode and you have the coolest toys!
Awesome episode! You are the best entertainer! Can you say how you came by these ship models? They look really neat :D
They're from a miniature fleet battle game called Black Seas.
www.black-seas.com/
What does he mean we will find out what happens next time IF we come back and join him? I can hardly wait for the next episode.
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
Fabulous!
One word, AWESOME!
Another amazing episode. Yarr!
Getting caught up ~ I really love Season 3 so far! What a great twist this episode

love it, would love to see more big battles like this
