I would love to see a tips & tricks on how you play Lair of Darkness and other versions of it if you could be so kind. Love the way you explain each move and term to make everything easy to understand
Have I mentioned how your videos are not only enjoyable, but also the way you tell your thought process, the combos behind each card, and how the deck is played is just incredible? No? Well now you know.
An in-depth guide on LOD, core cards to the strategy, & support packages (both low & high cost) would be awesome! Any alternative support you’ve thought of would be nice to hear about, even if it didn’t make the final cut.
Personally, I run level two's for Number 29. With it, all the monsters are summonable from the deck each turn that a monster is special summoned to the opponent's board, as with Lair's tokens. Also, Aslla piscu with Nightmare Archfiends for heavy burn.
I'd love to see an actual Duel with different condition like this instead of tutorial, but I'll still comment anyway, because your gameplay and tutorial are good, and LoD is one of my favorite decks.
Please do a Tips and Tricks - I am really looking forward to it and LOD is the deck I wanted to build ever since Master Duel begun (never got around to it, cuz I had other things to spend my gems and UR dust on)!
In term of fun, Lair of Darkness is definitely my favourite archetype Love the way the tribute stuff pass so many effects and negates it’s so satisfying to destroy a board with Lilith
At 2:17 you should have tributes the Alice. Sangan would proc its effect regardless. Also, you could have tributes the token so you could keep you lair active at 4:20
I love your control/ lair content. Please keep these coming, I was also excited that metaverse is at 2 because that means we can also run necrovalley in lair and in lab. I actually made a lair/lab hybrid deck since it can search lord of the heavenly prison
@@Jyxero Yup! I used to run Arlekino but now idk how much I like it in the deck, feels a little slow at times and it targets. Sometimes I run the Labrynth Archfiend since it does something similar and can be a bigger body that searches out a battle trap. Might be helpful
Btw, you can destroy the Numeron field spell, and they won't be able to activate their effects to boost their atk. Enables them to do so without detaching materials.
So I still have trouble parsing out the 'cost' of certain cards. Some have semicolons, like this symbol " ; " and others have a colon " : ". Some cards have a colon before the effect and still act like a cost, so if someone wouldn't mind explaining, it would be appreciated. I always try to understand this game as best I can.
Yugioh is really complicated, so don’t feel bad about not getting it sometimes. As far as colons vs semicolons, let me give it a shot. Colons- describe activation conditions. These have to be met in order to use the card. For example, Mirror Force’s condition is your opponent declaring an attack. Semicolons- describe what happens when the card is activated and before its effect resolves. This includes targeting and paying a cost. For example, a targeted destruction effect like Baronne will say “target a card; destroy it.” Costs are worded similarly. The virus cards say “tribute a monster; do a thing.” Magic Cylinder is a good example of both. “When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: target the monster; negate the attack and deal damage.” Colon/Condition- opponent declaring an attack. Semicolon/Targeting- target the monster. Effect- negate attack and deal damage. Again, Yugioh is a really complicated game, but I hope that description helps.
Crafted 1 Ties (Without knowing of your version) for Arianne / Ahrima / Infernity Archfiend (Not that hard to stay empty-handed with furniture); mixed results, but good to know wasn't crazy thinking on that spell Do you know of other tribute traps like Darklight or Balista squad? Great to see noticing your missplays, like that Duster on resolution of Skill drain / Fragrance
Best deck that can also take advantage of this should be the spell caster deck... Dogmatika... Dark magician... etc.... By activating that secret village field spell 😗🎶
You can use a token as material, but Starving Venom can’t use tokens for its fusion. Also Hex Seal doesn’t actually fusion summon. It special summons a fusion monster just like cyber stein, so your potential targets are a lot narrower. I have used it to summon Mirrorjade though.
Is this version better than the one with "the fang of Critias"? Not gonna lie, I was thinking about making the Lair of Darkness deck just to play Critias
Other versions are probably more optimal, but Critias is probably the most fun and my preferred way to play the deck. I haven’t played it in a while because the recent metas-Runick, Spright, Tear-make it harder to use.
@@iremiagaming Let´s hope that with the new banlist hitting Tear the deck can become more viable. I think I will wait for you to post another Lair of Critias video to play it.
@@iremiagaming the reason it's UR is nostalgia from duel monsters during the orichalchos villains. One of the orichalchos dudes ran a guardian deck. Dreadscythe was OP way back in the day
Yeah, I just saw that. It seems kind of strange to it, but we're getting the new labrynth stuff in the next pack. I need to figure something else out for the deck now.
Until Lady and Big Welcome drop, either Grinning or Full should do. Also that one Bystial that Tributes to shut down extra deck cards might as well be an honorary Lair card.

Bystial/Lair of Darkness is pretty good too because everything in opponent's graveyard becomes dark.
@@FvkcUA-camCensorship No it doesn't. Trust me I tried.

Never seen a lair of darkness gameplay before. Thanks for showing some of its gameplay.

the new bannlist fucks over lair of darkness quite a bit
I'll let you know in the comments.
Lol
A tutorial to lair of darkness would be v cool, crushing metas by using their monsters for tribute is lethal

YESSS! More Lair content please
yes i'd love a tips and tricks ... espacially maybe with other engines that sync with it
I dont comment often, but I love Lair so I'd love a tips video!
11:07 Btw you can't attack after using Heavy Storm Duster, and also LoD speed spell 4 is insane.
That is good since I am in building a lair of darkness
I'm still waiting for some traps that will come soon and the end of tear 0 before picking back my Lair of Darkness deck.
Lair of darkness was the first deck I've ever made and it's a banger

We want that video :O
honestly Demise of the Land is pretty servicable if you don't want to spend the UR points

really want to use metaverse in Labrynth but without Lady the deck hurts more than the opponent lol
Tips and tricks pls
I have a feeling that Eradicator is going to wind up banned when Labrynth recieves the rest of their support.
would be stupid to do granted how many negate spell/trap monsters are released…
@@adjacentstalker9237 I'm from the future! Eradicator is limited because of the labyrinth support
update with bystial
I think Lair of Darkness is ok. There is a trap card that negate all trap cards.
Make more content please
Do a spin on a actually good deck (not tear tho)
