These are my favorite types of interviews, because personally I'd rather hear about how they developed a love for music, and what they use to achieve the best sound.
this type of interview is 100x more interesting than what artists usually have to do (celebrity crushes and favourite dishes kind of stupid stuff). as a non-musician but music addict, i love to listen to the technics and types of instruments they use etc. and come on, look at how happy ash looks when he talks about his passion !! you go zildjian, thank u !!

This has got to be my favorite interview with Ash. Like he said in their movie, it's sad how music is the last thing asked about in interviews. This one is purely about his journey with drumming, how he developed his love for it and the types of drums he uses. I find that a lot more intresting than the "Who is your crush?" type of stuff other interviews do. And I think Ashton does as well.
I have to say Ashton is the only member of the band who can handle these solo interviews he's incredibly professional and mature and crazy talented I just hope some day he can make his way further into the Rock industry along with the other 3 because when he talks about drumming and he talks about his influences you know that's where his heart is at
The 'rock industry' bit nearly broke my heart. I love the direction they are going in now, don't get me wrong, but there was just something so special about their punk-rock-ness 😖😥

It's been over a year since the release of this interview, but I keep coming back because I find it so interesting. As an aspiring drummer myself, Ashton is such a huge inspiration to me. He's got sheer talent, and listening to him play is the greatest thing to me. Hearing about the cymbals and sticks he prefers is quite helpful and overwhelmingly cool. Quite possibly my favorite interview of all time. ((P.S. I've just gotten myself an A-custom ride and although it's used, it's incredibly awesome. Still working on swapping out some things and saving up the funds, but I'll always go for Zildjian!!))

DUDE! Me af rn!!! I've always been a Michael girl since 2012 and I just saw them for the first time in August and ever since I've been hard core swerving into Ashton's lane. TBH I did that with Zayn and Harry zayn girl from 2012 and then saw them in concert and was drifting to Harry.

That was a great video. Not just because of my love for Ashton but because I love hearing music or just talking about music. I love learning about the different sounds you can make on drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar,singing, more instruments that I could list on and on about, or just random mixes on a computer. Music is wonderful in all types of ways....
