It at least has 2 pools. The ones with 3 pools are usually for ships with 6000+ guest. Glory is for a little over 2100 guest. I went on it 25 years ago. I’m going again in January.
Pete, Fun Squad! I can't stand the galley in the middle of the floor! I have to help people all the time figure out what do and it seems to an abundance of scooter people. But you know what ? the Venezia , my last Carnival cruise, was built in 2017 and still had the galley in the middle so again CONFUSION!! We're from Thomasville, NC. Hey maybe we'll win the next cruise🙂
@ yeah I saw it comes down to Port Canaveral for a little bit probably because nobody wants to go out of New York when it’s so freezing. I thought it was a beautiful ship and had some cool places and I loved how it had a retractable roof and you had all this closed up area with deck 10 and 11 with the seating areas and it just made it feel so big, but I still wouldn’t have gotten in that pool with ocean water. I did the waterslides for a quick minute and it was freezing. But going south would be better. Try it out money bags 💰 😜
Hi Guys! Stephen, from Bradenton FL. Going on the Glory in December. First time going solo 😊. I see the Glory as the Freedom less the Red Frog Pub. I do believe it has the Seafood Shack (additional cost dining) which I usually enjoy. Spend a lot of time in the Heroes Bar (veteran). Hint, running out of your drink count…Heroes Tribute Cocktail…killer…Beefeater Gin, Skyy Cherry Vodka, Flor de Caña Rum,1800 Silver Tequila, Triple Sec, Starry, Blue Curaçao….in a single dink. Only available at Heroes. Be careful! The experience, as you stated, is based around your expectations and what you ae looking for. I like the appeal of the smaller ships, even though the ships like Mardi Gras have a lot going on, almost too much. Find myself chasing from one even to another…whew! This trip I will most likely spend a lot of time on the Serenity Deck (chill time!). Costs, yep, certainly agree on that one. Enough said. Love everything you guy do. Keep it going! Happy cruising….

I was on this ship in June 2024. This was the first cruise that I actually did not like. I enjoy being at sea always, but this cruise was awful. The ship is old, small, out of date, and in a level of disrepair. We experienced sewage smalls in several locations. The food was mediocre. Now, the crowd this ship draws, because it does short sailings, also not for me. Too much weed smoking, playing this game where they stuff an insane number of people into the elevator 🛗 then scream when the doors open. People running through the halls all day and all night. I LOVE Carnival, but I will never sail the class of ship, and will never sail a short sailing ever again.
What Carnival ship do you recommend for a family and two toddlers for a 4 day cruise? It will be my husband first time cruising and my second time (first time back in 2012 a 3 day) Thanks!
Hey there! I'd recommend something a little newer... specifically, so the children have more options 😊 This may be a little too old for that! How about the Horizon or Vista?
Ugg..we got a great deal or so i thought on glory..maybe not🫤.. Yes not a fan of having to go up/ down to get around galley.. unfortunately, the brand new Sun princess has that on deck 6/7.. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 🥧🍷

Yea, it seems like a double wamy when all the ships that do short booze cruise also happen to be old as dirt 🤕
