@@s.j.5290 filter is on top of the engine for my 2.7 ecoboost. Don't know for the others engines (pretty sure 3.5 eco is same as me but for the stock V6 and the 5.0L i don't know if the filter is on top like me)

The skid plate is made out of aluminum so we can't really powder- coat it. We could anodize it in black, but then the price isn't affordable. You can't actually see it unless you are under the truck, so the color shouldn't matter. Also the raw aluminum will hold up to the inevitable scrapes better than any other finish.
@@TruckHardwareLtd i agree aluminum finish holds up better from my enduro motorcycle skid plate experience. Although i would have liked to see the side pieces bent and offset rather than using brackets to mount. In my experience brackets snag stuff. My enduro motorcycle uses u shaped channels stamped in to change elevations rather than accessary brackets. Much stronger technique.
Hey Tony, Part number for this item is P700364. We actually did this install video on our 2018 F150. so it will work for sure. If you are in the U.S. you should phone or email Sharp Truck at 800-218-0609 / support@sharptruck.com. Not sure why it's not up but they will be able to sort you out! If you are in Canada, let us know where abouts! Thanks!
Most of the hardware used for this skid plate is zinc plated. We try and use stainless hardware whenever possible, but due to the aluminum construction we used zinc to avoid any galvanic corrosion issues.
The skid plate is a replacement of the factory felt liner. If the liner needs to be trimmed to fit your lift kit then our kit would likely need to be modified as well.
Just finished installing an. set of skid plates on my 2017 F 150. I'm impressed. A lot stronger than I would have thought for 1/8 in aluminum due to being bolted to the truck frame. I would love to see a fuel tank skid plate
The skid plate is currently only available in the US and Canada. In the US you can find it here: www.sharptruck.com/15-18-ford-f150-3-pc-skid-plate In Canada it can be found here: www.truckhardware.ca/products/792?variant=9811

Just receive my set on my F150 2016 ! Very happy with the product very good quality and great price !

I picked up a Raptor skid plate for my 2018 FX 4, total cost to install $200
I was wondering if this was possible. I like the look of the raptor skid plates but I am not sure if it would fit on my f150 stx.
How much modification was needed to make it fit?
The Raptor skid plate fit on my 2019 F-150 XLT like a glove. No modifications needed.@@bigf1502
Would be nice if you make a black powder coated version. Love your products btw👍

Just took delivery of a 2018 King Ranch, ordering a set!
How thick is this?????
1/8" Aluminum
Nice set up.
I Envision a clear acrylic version. How much is the three piece skid plate

Would this fit a lifted truck with a 6 inch lift
Any chance it'll fit with a lift? 4 inches

1/8" AL is all? Pretty weak honestly. The RCI skid plates offer 1/4" AL, now that, could take a real hit
Especially if it’s 7075.
Not bad for emptying the oil pan but Christ what a mess it will make when changing the filter 🤦♂️
after you drain oil put big ziplock over filter and just loosen, let drain for a bit remove and get the little bit left with a rag. easy peasy.
