even though i'm not a mom yet, seeing your thought process reminds me so much of what my mom was like growing up. getting up before me, always seeming like she was ready for everything the day had ahead of me, so much! i love seeing this side of you and also reflecting on it too
It’s so wonderful that Connor likes the outdoors! Such a great place to learn! I’ve been getting my 7 year old cousin to help me plant my garden this year and she’s been having a lot of fun. She lives in an apartment building so it’s good to get her out in my garden! She was putting her hands in the soil and saying, “it feels like I’m in love!” What a wonderful connection between child and earth to witness. So wonderful that Connor will get those moments of connectedness with nature so early!
I’m a first time mom and my daughter is 2.5 and I don’t think I will ever get back to who I was. I’ve learned to embrace who I’ve become and adjust to my new life as a mom and let God lead me ❤
After having 2 babies I can for sure say, for me, it takes about 7-8 months to feel I’m in a new normal. And can get back into more of a flow with things!
Haven’t watched but the first sentence yet, but so proud of you for realizing this so soon! It took me until my second baby to start taking better care of myself. ❤
I don't remember how i even found your channel, but i cant even tell you how glad i am i did! Im a newlywed and getting a golden retriever puppy soon (so ive loved all your tips with cash!) and you've also helped soften my heart so much to when i have a baby one day! i know i want kids but its something ive never been super excited for - watching your videos makes me feel so differently and reminds me how much of a gift from Christ a child is ❤
not a mom, but working through a new job and therapy so I have been exhausted. I really appreciated your little habits that seem approachable vs a whole big reset. Really loving this mom journey for you.
I have a 3 year old and I'm 5 months pregnant with baby #2! There are great days and very hard days. You are SO wise already when it comes to knowing what you need and I'm over here just figuring it out now in the last 8 months. I struggle with taking care of myself and giving too much of my energy without replenishing. I'm saving this video in my personal playlist to remind myself (especially during postpartum) what I need to be a good mom. Every single one of these healthy habits is what I need to be the best version of myself. Glad I found someone on here that is so similar to me!! Thank you for being honest and transparent - you are sooo relatable for me.
Such an inspiring video! As a first time mum to a 7 week old, life is still very hectic and although I love my little bundle of joy more than anything, it does feel like I lost a part of myself at the moment. It's good to see that things will get easier and we do eventually find time to do what we used to enjoy pre-pregnancy! Thanks Michelle for showing us those snippets of your life, it's so comforting to watch 😊
I started working out 5 months postpartum and it was definitely tough to get back into. No more 45 minute to an hour workout so now I really enjoy my 30 minute workouts. ❤
Totally can relate to this! My 5 month baby was born over UK winter time & we were in such a lot I found it exhausting! Now it’s lighter & milder outside more, & I feel more alive!
As a mom of a 2 year old and 5 months pregnant with our second I really appreciate you being honest and real with your days and emotions through motherhood 🤍
I only discovered your channel a couple of months before you had the baby, and then you were gone for awhile. So I’m thoroughly enjoying your new content. I’m in a completely different phase of life (grandmother), but I find your videos so relaxing!
I'm nowhere close to having a child of my own, but I'm learning a lot watching you grow in this phase of life, Michelle! Have a great rest of the week :)
Love seeing another vlog, what a great way to start the day! ❤️ thank you for being vulnerable with us, love the idea of getting back into it and focusing on healthy habits after baby
I just wanted to say, you are my favourite youtuber and such a big inspiration for me! I´ve been following you for at least 3 years and your content is just so beautiful and such breath of fresh air. Greetings from Colombia!
I also wanted to say I resonate deeply with all the things you say about motherhood, and though I´m not a mom yet, I know it is one of my biggest dreams, and not everyone has the bravery to be open about challenges is such a sweet way. So i´m just really thankful for you just keeping up with youtube in this new season of life. (PD: I love ALL your clothes!)
I love that you are starting with the peloton! There are so many instructors with so many different types of music, workouts, etc. I'm sure you'll find someone you love!
Loved this vlog, motherhood suits you so sweetly!I loved the clip you kept in with Aidan helping you setup for the bike/spin class (how sweet!). Felt so wholesome and gives such a special glimpse to your lovely little family, thanks for sharing!
The bike seat should be in line with your hip bone when you’re standing, and you’ll have a slight bend in your knees. Just FYI! Needed this motivation, I’m due in June and am already craving getting into a better routine and feeling more like myself again ❤
Do you ever use a crockpot? I love mine. It makes cooking very little effort on days when I feel exhausted. I use it like twice a week lol I also like using it to meal prep. Sometimes I just put chicken and broth in there and then shred the chicken and add it to salads.
Really loved seeing you ❤ been watching since New York and roommate Rose days and now we are both moms just 4 months apart ☺️I really do agree on all the tips. I do it the same way - all the best from Germany
tip with the peloton set up: the seat is supposed to be hip height and then it should be the length of your forearm away from the resistance dial. atleast that’s how soul cycle does it!
Michelle, your video are so inspirational, in the best way possible! I love how you combine being productive with enjoying the simple things in the everyday life! Thank you for being such a positive role model for me! Be blessed in everything!
I LOVE that Little Golden Books tote! Reminds me of not only my kids, but my own childhood. So you take Connor to baby story time at the library? My sanity was all about it! Cash in the camera when you’re showing the target clothes. Omg 😊
Does the baby sleep in his room? My baby is just 2 months but I am still struggling at night with making sure he is breathing. I don’t know if it’s a first mom thing, but I spend a lot of the night checking up on him even though he sleeps right next to us. But anywho, thanks for sharing!! I love watching your vlogs and seeing what is ahead on my own journey as a first time mom, or things I can implement myself. Yess those 30 minute peloton rides are everything post partum! I love Tunde’s classes, Dennis Morton, Alex Toussand (these are upbeat and keep you engaged).
Yes he is! I definitely worried about that at first, but he’s always woken up frequently in the night so I don’t think about it much now haha… helps that his room shares a wall with ours. Everyone’s different though! ❤️
What is the marinade you use for you fish. I get those fiah packs too but dont cook fish a lot so ive only ever cooked fish in the oven with lemon seasoning, squeezed lemon juice on top with lemon covering all the fish
Michelle I'm so pleased your loving motherhood, glad your also having time for yourself self love is never selfish. You, Connor and Cash together outside was so precious. Have a lovely weekend❤!
Your vlogs are so peaceful and I’m not even a mother (or have a desire to be a mother to anything other than my cat 😂). Also - I’m so sorry but is that a bug on your arm in the first clip?? I kept staring at it 😂
I wish I could afford to have children. I’m hardly making money with the job I have now and since prices are constantly going up it’s almost impossible. I don’t even treat myself and buy things that I want. I can hardly afford to buy things that I need. My goal in life is to have children so idk what I’m gonna do.

Aw Aiden being sweet and helping you out on the Peloton! Watching you in this phase reminds me of me and my husband when we had our son ❤

Love the gentle approach to reintroducing healthy habits after big life changes. We're often our own biggest critics.
Thank you for this. My twin boys will be a year old at the end of this month, and I am still adjusting to my new identity as a mum.
I love how you approach motherhood and I love how you and your husband are both so gentle and encouraging of one another 🥹✨
I appreciate these videos so much. Thank you for your openness and transparency through motherhood

About reading, does it have to be a real book? What about comics, magazines and newspapers? Technically, they all count as reading.
Thank you for this inspiring video Michelle❤
You made me feel so good:)
Michelle I'm so pleased your loving motherhood, glad your also having time for yourself self love is never selfish. You, Connor and Cash together outside was so precious. Have a lovely weekend❤!
Michelle! You should register for Dolly Parton’s imagination library. It’s a free book subscription for your baby that comes each month.
Love the vlog!
I love how realistic and honest this is! Also…$20 for a canvas bag??
I know! I think some of the funds went to a certain cause? But I was shook 😂
Can’t wait to watch ❤
❤love this advice 😊
Your vlogs are so peaceful and I’m not even a mother (or have a desire to be a mother to anything other than my cat 😂).

If you haven’t already, look in to signing up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for Connor 😊📚
This sounds great!
Hi Michelle - FYI I think the seat is too high. Should be hip level. Been going to spin a while.
Thank you!! ☺️
“Should I do the Olivia Rodrigo ride?” “Who’s she?” 😂💀
