Great story, man. Good to hear about young men having so much opportunity and trust back in the day.. Getting your license at 15/16, wow! #LongLiveAmerica
I love this story! I’m flying a ‘61 Comanche 250 that my Grandpa and Great Uncle bought in ‘63. I’d love to pay her the TLC that you are paying your gem of a 150. I got my FW ticket in a 172 (I’ve been flying Army helicopters for 15 years), but I LEARNED to fly airplanes in that beaut of a Piper. If you have testosterone flowing through your veins, and don’t love a beautiful aero plane, you ought to go see a physician! Someday, I’m going to frame-up-restore that Comanche.
What a great story. I'm looking forward to seeing how this project turns out. Thank you for starting this restoration.
Don't hold your breath.
Great story...we all love a good airplane story.
Great to see such care being taken in this restoration.
Thanks for the tips!

If finished, this aircraft will be around for another 60 years.
