Loved the Black dudes reactions. He’s spot on. Say what you will about Slipknot or Corey Taylor, the dude is a poet and an erudite with his lyrics. He is actually quite well read and tries to incorporate intellectually stimulating and existential topics into his lyrics.
He got a lot of criticism for his over usage of expletives on the first two albums and then incorporated more sophistication and depth into his lyrics in his musical pursuits since.

Already hear hybrid stuff where new Rock bands are incorporating Rap and 808's into the mix (and it doesn't sound like Nu Metal), so I feel like whatever Rock will come back as, it will be something relatively new. Just like 00's Prog Rock and Nu Metal were compared to the 90's, and the 90's to the 80's, and etc etc etc.
