If you still play legacy still please be very weary of your surroundings. Many servers are having the same Type-H hack happening and it sucks to spend hours raising your creature only to lose it. I can100% confirm it is REAL and i doubt it's going to be fixed for legacy.
Of course people are gonna try and find a way to play as Hypers if only devs and youtubers are going to be able to have acces to them, every person that's part of The Isle community would like to have a chance at least once to play as a Hyper regarding it's legacy or Evrima

To be honest I kinda think the devs have brought this on themselves. Players are getting frustrated about not having access to these creatures, when we’ve known about them for a long time. No wonder people are resorting to hacking them in. I mean COME ON how long are the devs going to “perfect” and “redo” them? I’m not saying hacking them in is something good. Of course you shouldn’t, but at the same time nobody should be surprised this happened.
Sometimes I think that the hypos and other strains are never going to be playable. The devs just seem to be putting it off. Do they realize the main draw to their game are the strains?
Legacy will be deleted when Evrima become more playable and exit alpha/beta stage. This is why they dont give a shit about some Chinese hacker playing as Hyperendocrin dinosaurs... Maybe they’ll fix that issue later, who know? Exept that, hyper will not be player available until a good way to make them viable is in game... Even if I agree that they should make it a server option on Sandbox and ONLY on Sandbox for now.
Ppl forgot about the fact that hypo rex was in the game and destroy the whole game nobody could grow groups of 20 raxes were destroyed in seconds and they removed it why ppl think it will be good now ppl will like it for a month then will want to be removed bcs they are unfair

I am however hating on The Isle and how it's development has basically gotten nowhere ever since it came out. It's been 5 years in development and the game is little more than a tech demo.

It may seem that it hasn't gone far but in each update that does come around previous dinos are updated to be better and that all players can enjoy playing as them, and of course bugs that they can fix at the time are well- fixed. People just need patience for games like this.

We were promised humans, strains, cannibals, etc. and we have yet to get ANY of that in the game permanently. The updates they have provided thus far haven't done much beside add new dinosaurs and tweak already existing mechanics. The Isle, despite being under development for FIVE YEARS hasn't even come out of it's early access which in my opinion, isn't even early access but a tech demo. I say it's a tech demo because the game, as is, is the bare bone minimum of what is required for a dinosaur survival game. Interesting how they've never added anything beyond that in FIVE YEARS. If you want more information about why I think The Isle is poorly developed I'd recommend watching Sidalpha's latest video on the game. He goes over great points in detail on things I never even thought about with the development of this game.

From what I know, Hypos will become available to players again, and if this is true, I will be one of those players who doesn't kill everyone in sight. Maybe an apex here or there if I need food, but generally, Hypos are gorgeous creatures, deadly too, and I'd want to be one of those people to let others have a close look at them, for themselves, just once, because I've always wanted to see them up close, but I never have been able to, and if others want to, I'll give them that moment. :)

The plan is (from what we know): Later in development, when Hyperendocrin will become available, you’re gonna need to earn the right to play one... Ever heard about the Elder and Perk system? In case your answer is no, well there is your explanation: Basically, after you played and survived X amount of time after your reached adulthood with your X dino, well you will have the choice to be an Elder. Elder are a little bit bigger than their « younger adult counterparts » and have a some difference in their physical appearance. After you clicked the Elder button, your dino’s model will progressively grow and transform into the Elder model (just like the progressive growth we have in Evrima) For a medium duration of time, your dinosaur will become considerably stronger than a normal adult, *BUT* after he reached his peak, he will slowly become weaker until he eventually become weaker than a normal adult. At this point you will die of old age, after you will have to choose a Perk (small boost) that will apply for your next dino’s life. This mechanics add a goal to your survival and a reward if you successfully did of old age. Also those Perk are not big OP boost, but they are cumulative... Now this is where we get to strains... for some dinosaur, after you accumulated *alot* of perk; you will be able to use them to purchase a life as a strain. But once you died, you will loose a lot of your perks and will need to start over. (Because strain are very powerful) This is what we know now, but this is not confirmed and can pretty much be subject to change. Hope that I helped you with that👍

They do wars against eachother, I was in one of those servers as a normal rex, got invited to a group with about 7-8 hypo rex's and they went up against a pack of 8 or more normal rexs and other hypo rexs, it was interesting to watch

Dinosaur: "Heh eh, you are not going to kill me stupid Hypo!" Hypo: "Omae wa no shidndeiru!" Dinosaur: "Nani?!" Dinosaur flops dead.

I joined this server and seen 2 hypo carnos and a quetz. it was so amazing considering the fact I've never seen a hypo with my own 2 eyes before or a quetz
Was just thinking of the Isle the other day. Well thinking is not wholly accurate, I was more of Jonesing for my Isle fix. I may have actually been irrational about it for a while. Besides considering mayhem I was desperately trying to figure out solutions so I could get my fix. I even considered joining the Peace Corp as a solution. I did say irrational right? ... I wonder if the Girl-scouts would have an opening....mmmmm

It's about time people just took what they wanted!! Damn UA-camrs and Devs hoarding all the Type H action for themselves. I for one am GLAD that there are players hacking in as Hypos. It finally means it's not an elitist thing that makes someone special by having access to, now anyone can play as a Hypo. ANYONE, can have the fun they've been patiently waiting for too long to have. If you have a problem with people getting to enjoy what's been used to goad them in and keep them playing, then you're part of the problem. The Hypos have literally been the ONLY thing that's been keeping people invested, there's better games where you can play as a Dino: Ark, with mods. Beasts of Bermuda PoT The list goes on I'm sure, but they've all given players exactly what was advertised. The Isle has not. So I'm personally thanking the people who figured out how to hack in as Hypos and please share with as many folks as you can how to do it. If enough people can get what they came for then they can hurry up, get bored of it and move on.
I've been on the servers where they're hacking and using hypers. And all the players have only been chilling. They're not attacking normal players. They've only attack each other and let players watch. The only time they attack normal players is when a normal player challenges and attacks first.
I kind of understand where the devs stand with not wanting the hypos to be playable by everyone. it's supposed to be a big thing, when one appears on the map and hunts players down, not ones that hang out like this (though it is super cool to be able to get close without dying lol) if everyone had the chance to play as them, it wouldn't be so special. but, it would have been really awesome if they had events where someone was chosen to play as it, maybe through a raffle kind of thing, and everyone else had to survive!

I thought the Dinos for Evrima were going to be released in Pairs, when all the content to support and keep them in check were included. Namely, a Herby, with a Carnivore to keep it in check or a carnivore with a herby to feed and sustain it. So why was Dryo included on it's own? Also I thought the entire point of the Recode was to make things modular, so they could pump out new creatures like each week with very little work needed. Why so late on very little actual content?
jirodyne Well yes, but actually no... You see, before things become « modular » every other base mechanics must be done, right now its not the case... This is why things are going slow mode. Dryo was released along with his AI version to shoot a breath of fresh air into the game, along with alot of bug-fix and inevitably new bugs. Also as you surely know, Evrima is the Alpha/Beta version of the « Recode » we all know and desire, so we are not supposed to be able to play it right know. They let us play because we help them alot with finding and fixing bugs and glitches. (This is why Legacy version is still up) And dont forget that Evrima is whole new game, they started over to remake the Isle without the errors they made in the past. So forget « broken promises » because they do not matter right now and only exist because the old code was broken. Game are ALWAYS slower when they begin, and early access games are most of the time filled with game braking bugs/glitchs... So pls be patient, play other games like BOB, POT or ARK while you wait for The Isle to become more enjoyable... thats what I do and I have no problems with it. I'd be a Hypo-Giga and be a cool player just too SCARE players by roaring at them on stormy windy days and roaming areas of interest and do cool 1v1 against the magma rex or Hypo rex for players too watch a BATTLE of the titans
I can only assume some players had enough of Devs and youtubers/admins being able to play hypos and wanted to try them for themselves. However the hacking aspect is wrong but it’ll be interesting to see how this gets handled 😂
I honestly have no problem with people using the Hypos as long as they don't do so in a crappy way. (You know, running around killing everyone on legit servers). Hypos have been around for so many years, but almost nobody gets to play as them. The Isle created something really awesome and then completely restricted it, which seems absurd to me.
Man, I wish I could be a hypo just to be a hypo. I wouldn't want to go around killing people because that's boring and mean, I'd like to just vibe in a lake as a H Spino or something. They've been fully finished (for legacy) for how long now and only some big youtubers and devs get to play as them? Seems like a complete waste of resources to me.

Tbh Hypos being hacked into the game has happened for a long time. I mean who WOULD be surprised especially with how slow development is.

I joined this server and seen 2 hypo carnos and a quetz. it was so amazing considering the fact I've never seen a hypo with my own 2 eyes before or a quetz

Was just thinking of the Isle the other day. Well thinking is not wholly accurate, I was more of Jonesing for my Isle fix. I may have actually been irrational about it for a while. Besides considering mayhem I was desperately trying to figure out solutions so I could get my fix. I even considered joining the Peace Corp as a solution. I did say irrational right?

It's about time people just took what they wanted!! Damn UA-camrs and Devs hoarding all the Type H action for themselves. I for one am GLAD that there are players hacking in as Hypos. It finally means it's not an elitist thing that makes someone special by having access to, now anyone can play as a Hypo.
ANYONE, can have the fun they've been patiently waiting for too long to have. If you have a problem with people getting to enjoy what's been used to goad them in and keep them playing, then you're part of the problem. The Hypos have literally been the ONLY thing that's been keeping people invested, there's better games where you can play as a Dino:

The list goes on I'm sure, but they've all given players exactly what was advertised. The Isle has not.
So I'm personally thanking the people who figured out how to hack in as Hypos and please share with as many folks as you can how to do it. If enough people can get what they came for then they can hurry up, get bored of it and move on.

I've been on the servers where they're hacking and using hypers. And all the players have only been chilling. They're not attacking normal players. They've only attack each other and let players watch. The only time they attack normal players is when a normal player challenges and attacks first.
I kind of understand where the devs stand with not wanting the hypos to be playable by everyone. it's supposed to be a big thing, when one appears on the map and hunts players down, not ones that hang out like this (though it is super cool to be able to get close without dying lol) if everyone had the chance to play as them, it wouldn't be so special. but, it would have been really awesome if they had events where someone was chosen to play as it, maybe through a raffle kind of thing, and everyone else had to survive!
I dont know that I would call it "hacking" but it's actually kinda cool. wish there was more custom servers, let the community do it since the dev's cant seem to.

I thought the Dinos for Evrima were going to be released in Pairs, when all the content to support and keep them in check were included. Namely, a Herby, with a Carnivore to keep it in check or a carnivore with a herby to feed and sustain it. So why was Dryo included on it's own? Also I thought the entire point of the Recode was to make things modular, so they could pump out new creatures like each week with very little work needed. Why so late on very little actual content?

You see, before things become « modular » every other base mechanics must be done, right now its not the case... This is why things are going slow mode. Dryo was released along with his AI version to shoot a breath of fresh air into the game, along with alot of bug-fix and inevitably new bugs.
Also as you surely know, Evrima is the Alpha/Beta version of the « Recode » we all know and desire, so we are not supposed to be able to play it right know. They let us play because we help them alot with finding and fixing bugs and glitches. (This is why Legacy version is still up)
And dont forget that Evrima is whole new game, they started over to remake the Isle without the errors they made in the past.
So forget « broken promises » because they do not matter right now and only exist because the old code was broken.
Game are ALWAYS slower when they begin, and early access games are most of the time filled with game braking bugs/glitchs...
So pls be patient, play other games like BOB, POT or ARK while you wait for The Isle to become more enjoyable... thats what I do and I have no problems with it.

I'd be a Hypo-Giga and be a cool player just too SCARE players by roaring at them on stormy windy days and roaming areas of interest and do cool 1v1 against the magma rex or Hypo rex for players too watch a BATTLE of the titans
I can only assume some players had enough of Devs and youtubers/admins being able to play hypos and wanted to try them for themselves. However the hacking aspect is wrong but it’ll be interesting to see how this gets handled 😂
I honestly have no problem with people using the Hypos as long as they don't do so in a crappy way. (You know, running around killing everyone on legit servers). Hypos have been around for so many years, but almost nobody gets to play as them. The Isle created something really awesome and then completely restricted it, which seems absurd to me.

They've been fully finished (for legacy) for how long now and only some big youtubers and devs get to play as them? Seems like a complete waste of resources to me.

Evrima is actually worth playing now
