As a huge 'Car Throttle' and old school 'Top Gear' fan... I'm super excited to see you guys dip a toe into this kind of content; feel free to take a full dive in!
@@OVERDRIVE.studios Keep at it man, the mix between extremely informative engineering videos that actually go deep on the math, physics, etc. and these fun series where you fool around is some of the best car content on UA-cam right now.
well jaguar does have a history of being in racing. so its no surprise a business man muscle sedan can put up a fight against 2 germans(mercedes and audi)
Seeing that big Jag get hustled around a circuit by an experienced driver was a load of fun. Props to Will for catching on and absolutely sending it in the SLK; looked like he was having a blast!
As a European, still sad they put mpg and stuff like that for fuel consumption instead of L/100km but I'll get over it lol. At least converting USD into Euro is easy right now lmao

It's about driving the car close to it's limit and not how fast you are going" After shopping for something tasty like a BM 330 I've finally realised I just want something cheap and fun to feeling around. Been a huge fan of Scott's content for years, glad to see what it's growing into. I'm a sucker for old school circuits too, would love to see you guys keep that motorsport flavour in future videos.
I feel like I've found my home when I'm watching these types of videos from you guys. I didn't enjoy a video like this in a while so thank you Driven Media!
Some really strong Old Top Gear vibes, but loved seeing the chemistry between you three! That JJJaaaggg needs some proper setup and it'll devour all, so long as Scott is driving...
Great video ! 😃 I like the fact there is humor without ruining the other’s car. 😍 The mood of the video is great. This kind of content reminds us the fun that can be had, without breaking the bank. Keep doing what you’re doing. 😄 Take care.
I know that feeling of best day ever. I still remember my first track day. That was 8 years ago. Now I have lap records all across the us. The race bug is real!!
OMG was this good, obviously needles to say we want more. Lots of Top Gear comparisons, but you do you and 3 friends having fun is all you need, Hope we get more adventures from you.
5:47 seeing 3 semis side by side really shows that America and the UK aren't so different after all. But damn $100+ for 16 gallons is a lot. I'm crying every time I put that much in my truck for $60 once a week.
The reason I liked Top Gear USA was because of Taner Faust a professional driver, and I'm very excited for this series because of Scott. It gives a different vibe from Car Trek or throttle house challenges.
This was great! I was a bit worried by the low production quality at first, but it was well edited, the order of events flowed well and the chemistry was great!
Those Jags are bloody brilliant! I took a 4.0 around the Nurburgring back in 2018 a number of times, absolute hoot! Cruising at 50-60mph they will do over 40mpg as it is hardly ticking over, genuinely great cars!
This is the next grand tour. The top gear. This is the best of both series. These personalities, oh I'm in tears. Thank you for reminding me of the best car show. You've got what it takes to shift it a gear higher, to go on an even grander tour.
You would assume just by seeing these three cars in the beginning, that they were a bit ambitious but rubbish. But now after this video, I'm more inclined to get myself my own car to use on track !
Impressive showing from the Jag. I bet I'd be seriously hacked off if that luxury barge overtook me when I'd bought a track prepared mini! It's not even an XJR

Absolutely loving the top gear style episode! I feel like the Audi was the most Hammond choice, the Mercedes was the most James May choice, and the Jag was the most Clarkson choice because V8 rear wheel drive Or the SLK is Clarkson and the Jag is May because captain slow with the spongiest suspension and heaviest car.
Man this video was awesome, love how in the end you focused on the fun instead of picking at each other, this video was just so chill to watch. Thank you.
To be fair, those fuel stations were on the motorway so they’re a bit more expensive than the average price. However, the price is ridiculous even at the ‘cheapest’ petrol stations at the moment!
A lot of UA-camrs do the classic top gear challenges nowadays. Not everyone manages to make it fun however, but you guys sure did! Would definitely like to see more videos like this! Just make sure you keep it genuine and not the fake, badly acted, scripted stuff they do in the US.
This was such a great watch and the result in the end really tied in how much fun this video ended up being. Huge Top Gear vibes and loved every second of it.
Suuuper high Top Gear feels from this, lovely. I love when it cuts back to Will after the Carly Ad (Get yours today with the link in the description) and it's just bleeps lol.
seeing the price for gas was eye opening. I am here in texas, where my local gas is about $4.50 per gallon (.986 pounds/litre if my calculation is right), so seeing you pay $146 on gas was quite surprising. For reference, 15.5 gallons (58.674 litres) of 93 octane costs me about $65 (53.96 pounds).
You're doing everything right that Car Trek does wrong. Not multiple hour (way too) long episodes, but short and fun. Keep at it and don't change too much!
