This is funny as hell but I will say both Dan Garett and Ted Kord Blue Beetle from Charlton comics are actually public domain as their comics didn't have proper copyright notices at the time. This is a similar situation like Night of the Living Dead which is the whole reason zombie media exists.
agent beetle is basically blue beetle without the copyright claim. The character is public domain but because DC Comics got his name he got away with basically the same character without any of the later alien stuff. 😂
