forging hammer has 0 stamina cost. why do you not play it?
If he fights people with shields he looses stamina every time they block an attack. It is also very fast so it will always attack first so if he fights with other weapons against a shield he will not have stamina for his actual damaging weapons as the hammer does so little damage if any. So it will lead most of the time to defeat, atleast against shields.
The adding Max health not counting as healing and when it's added it's effective health, not empty. Health is terrible for the game. That last round was a perfect example. No one should be able to get 2,000 Max health and effectively healing for 1,500 of it on the way there

The forge hammer doesn't use stam does it? So how would it stam you out? I don't get it.
Another commenter pointed out it will cost stamina if it hits a shield. At 3:15 he points out he is facing a shield so he was happy with that choice. If you do the math on the stamina cost against shield, it's 0.09 stamina per hit, which for the forging hammer is per 3.5 seconds, so 0.025 stamina per second. The battle lasted 8.3 seconds, 8.3 * 0.025 = 0.2075 average stamina cost of hitting shield with forging hammer. He finished with 0.3 stamina, so chances are higher than 50% he could stam out and miss the last axe hit, which would be missing out on about 12 damage, less than the 8.3 theoretical damage added by the hammer's 1 dps
