Why do you go into battles with piggy bank instead of box of riches? Aren't box of riches strictly better as you get the gems for crafting and you can always sell them if you need the gold.
Good question, there’s two reasons: 1. Piggy banks grant max life with their star effect. 2. While having the gem box, there is a chance for the gems to take slots in the shop instead of items I want such as the shield or the potions. I ultimately felt I didn’t need gems anymore, and fusing the gems is Econ neutral rather than positive, so I was pretty happy to just not get gems.
There’s a little detail in how the RNG works that actually makes it optimal to buy. It becomes less likely to find items that you recently bought, therefore buying on sale items you don’t need, then selling them back, helps to increase the odds of finding what you need.
that's wild. i know there's a tight knit community of people who have optimized the hell out of this game. when i watch Time4Miracle play he always mentions some random mechanics i've never known about lol

You can play 2 Sun shield + 2 Stone armor + 1 Dark Lantern + 1 vampric armor. Why ? To instant proc the less than 50% hp threshold on stone armor (Dark lantern "50%" + Vampiric armor "Flat 30hp") and they have give a massive amout of armor. Fun build sadly counter by helmet damage reduction, beserker damage reduction and reincarnate from pyro.
Helmet damage reduction applies after the active player’s setup. I was considering crunching the numbers around Stone Armor and Dark Lantern actually, that sounds like a really fun way to try and take this.
@@derrickvo9292 Maybe, I should test it again, it feel like I wasn't doing much again helm everytime i see it and the player survive. But other stuff like armor and heat applied after somehow, as I somehow OTK player with pheonix (No dark lantern) as they have no heat when they "die" and also people with combat start armor applied after the OTK.
@@milo853 Yeah opponent setup effects (including helmets) happen after the active player's setup. It may be a correlation with helmets and other things like berserker stuff?
Yeah but I wanted a higher chance to get shields/potions (though at the end of the rarities it caps out at just offsetting commons with godly items ultimately)
I wonder if the game has sanity checks to prune builds like this from the matchmaking pool. Have you ever heard of somebody encountering this from the other side?
It's actually a lot weaker as an opponent than as the player due to how BPB works. The "active player" activates their items before the "opponent", so I would've actually *lost* that final battle from my opponent's perspective, due to their caps triggering and massively reducing the amount of damage they take from setup.
Because it costs a whole 2 gold! I was waiting for a sale on space somewhere which would ideally let me get that space for free. Also the block isn’t helpful for my build, the sun shields need to see the items which generate block and the shields can’t see bags

They’re not really useful yeah. I thought shield was godly for whatever reason.
I like double shovel start with this build, it's good economy and gets you stones/coal and lighting coal makes you more fire after you have the anvil.

Why did you avoid the Purse like the plague? You had exactly 1 missing spot in your bags, and the Purse is also Block which is good for your build.. 😭
