I absolutely love that you rode your horse rather than fly w elytra. Makes the tour better. And just going through the trails on land is nice. Godly world this is what i imagined doing when i started minecraft.

Back when I still played, one of my favorite things was to make unique roads between all my builds. Like meticulously handcrafted paths with little lighting and foliage and texture etc. it made the whole world feel x10 better and really made the builds stand out even more

you should do little wagons along the path (some broken) as well as stables and trading posts.
New to the Channel, what resource pack or mod did you install to have horse animation like that?
Freshanimations resource pack and either Optifine or Entity model features for the pack to work
Longer videos would be best honestly we need more of that

Like 35 render distance, I have an rtx 3070, Ryzen 7 5700x, and I use the sodium mod and Bobby mod

Actually, there is a real-life biome called forest tundra - between the forest and tundra :D I think you captured very well the feeling that I've gotten in Lapland, although I'd add some sweet berry bushes there too.
Well good to know! And patches of sweet berrys do spawn but they aren't super common
I play on bedrock console edition and traveling with an elytra though very efficient and definitely quicker is ass imo. Rendering is too slow. So I've been connecting everything with rail systems and having built one line that spanned 6k blocks I feel the struggle. It was so worth it though. Just kick back or look around and enjoy the sights

An older version is on planetminecraft called JermsyBoy's World Overhaul, but it won't be updated again until 1.20 releases
It's my first time on your channel and your world is awesome! I love this idea, you have inspired me to do the same in my own 10 year old world that I've been playing on and off, so it is not as lived in as yours, but I plan on playing there more often. I love that you don't rely on heavy editing or put those annoying subtitles that go word by word with that (bouncy?) effect that 90% of current Minecraft content creators do, I find it too distracting and overwhelming, I'd rather watch a video with a slower, smoother pace. Also, it feels more authentic, you're doing your own thing. Most channels are so similar that I forget who did what lol.

Fresh animations, you need the mod entity model features or optifine for it to work

Hi, why did you stop making videos on your resource pack that I liked before? Vanilla textures are so boring, there's no variety and they only connect seamlessly (mix of gravel, andesite, stone etc) at a distance. I used to love watching your videos and seeing how you created art by designing new blocks and their connected tiles. Perhaps only the spruce planks were a bit too dark, hehe.
Honestly I just got bored of my own pack, I may start working on another at some point in the future because I do miss that aspect of my videos but for now I'm just gonna stick to vanilla and challenge myself to build with that

I'm a little confused. In this episode you talk about the world being 8 years old, but in the first episode of season 3 it seemed like you had started fresh. Did you just use commands or something to change your spawn point, or combined the two worlds with MCA Selector, or am I missing something?
I made a totally new seed in the 1.18 update and over time slowly readied all my previous builds and blended them into the world in a way that made sense. And yes I did use MCA selector to combine them
