Artgrid is hands down the best stock footage out there for filmmakers. Their pricing is very competitive and the quality of stock footage is Hollywood levels! Artgrid uses film cameras, like RED, and you can even find footage in resolutions up to 8K.

@@PaulHeimlund Oh, I really hope so! So far, every animation and video sequence on my UA-cam channel was self-made. It was a tough step for me to admit that I can't spend 40 hours a week on a UA-cam video. Artgrid will definitely do a lot of work for me!

Hey! Yeah, you can use it for everything you want to! And no, you can’t be billed monthly. Imho it’s a big investment when you sign up, but once you have it it’s really cool and you’re gonna use it a lot! Remember you get two months extra using my link ;)

what software does artgrid work with? Sorry, I am new to this and would like to make a video for my clothing brand. Hey, and thanks for your feedback! When you use Artgrid you download separate video clips to your computer. It’s compatible with all video editing software, like Final Cut, Premiere Pro etc. Hope this helps ;)

what do you mean is yours forever? Nobody can use that clip anymore?
It means YOU can use it forever. Other stock footage companies limits the use for only one project. Everyone else that subscribe to Artgrid has also access to all footage.

@@bombay5 Hey, a quick search on other sites will show that most lower priced services have big limitations. Before using Artgrid I had this problem. Artgrid’s price is only annual, no monthly payment...

Hey, great video! Do you know how much money the filmmakers make that contribute the footage? Since it's a yearly license buyout to unlimited footage, seems like they would get a bit screwed on making money for their work, but maybe ArtGrid has them on a retainer or something. Thoughts?
Hey, thanks man! It’s a good question. As good creators keep on uploading, I guess they feel compensated. It’s the same concept as their music platform Artlist; unlimited downloads and library keeps on growing. Artgrid has such a high production value in many of their clips that it seems they have also been paid a one off fee to shoot the scenes, but that’s only my guess. I’m sure if you’re interested in submitting your own footage they would tell you how their pricing works ;)
When they say "HD" is it 720p or full HD at 1080p?
It’s full HD 1080p! In most of the clips you have access to two kinds of HD: one normal HD clip, which is compressed a bit more, or one HD HQ, which has a lossless compression like prores422. To speed up my workflow and render times I often use HD HQ instead of 4K, and on UA-cam you cannot really see that much of a difference ;)
Do you need a computer for this ? Or can you use a Mac tablet or even an android ?

Junior HD plan videos are 720p or 1080p?
They are in 1080p and the compression is so good that many times I download a 1080p clip instead of a 4k, even if I edit in 4k ;)

Another query - I have downloaded few watermarked videos from artgrid for testing, none of them have sound recorded for the event..say, ringing the bell, waves, etc (finding right stock sound clips for the event is another task). Will subscription videos have sound (atleast for event-based clips)?

Hey Mark. The two months are added to your subscription if you sign up. So instead of paying for 12 months you get 14 months :)
