@@ididnothing1457 It's pretty much impossible to get a perfect run because a lot of stuff can easily go wrong. I think I can avoid the random time losses every run, but they still happen no matter how much I practice or run the game.

im replaying watch dogs 2 at the moment and didnt like it at first. but i gotta say, it grew on me to the point that its my favorite now :) the only thing i was constantly missing in WD1 was the ability to interact with NPCs, WD2 is just brighter, bigger and better than 1!
During “swimming upstream” how did you start the network bypass like that? I didn’t even think it was possible to get the prompt from that far. Is it a frame perfect trick?
Not a frame perfect trick. I use taller vehicles like vans (allows the camera to move farther back) and switch to the far camera to do it. Then I tilt the camera angle down and spam quick hack during the jump. It can also be done with the quadcopter (and probably the jumper with the high jump ability) or with a scissor lift, but I don't have those at this point in the run.
@@RandomMachine so to put it simply, it’s just ball parking the camera so it looks in the general direction of the terminal and hitting middle mouse until in connects and starts the puzzle? That’s actually really cool
@@TheAnnoyedGoose Yeah, I manipulate the camera angle by doing the stuff that I mentioned so that my profiler can reach that thing inside. I also forgot to mention that I change the hacking aim assist to very high (over 90%)
@@RandomMachine cool. I’ve considered trying to speedrun (this is the only one I’ve 100%ed so far) and it’s cool to learn the little tricks. You’re definitely deserving of the WR from how much skill you have just understanding the mechanics of the game

@@dalton-dev WD1 or Legion. WD1 is easier than this game and has some cool strats. Legion is probably the easiest, but it doesn't have many interesting strats. WD2 can still be fine too if you don't care about the run being too optimized.

True, i honestly have nothing but respect for people that speedrun very long/open world games, even more so if it's a 100% run for something like GTA.

Maybe the routes and shortcuts, but the traps and puzzle hacks is absolutely nuts.

he’s a speed runner not a pvp player most of his missions he has methods to skip all the pve
the hacking is just funny to watch, bro some people need at least 5 min he does it in like 2-3 sec congrats on your WR tho

I used a mod to skip some cutscenes at the start and the 9:16 is the amount of time I skipped.

Where and wdym? I use Engine Override when I'm in vehicles and Speed Boost with the Drone/Jumper to speed up.
