I'm cuban and this helped me understand myself in a deeper level, Sabrosura is like autopilot for us. Hear someone to decode it and explain it so well,wow.....Gracias Chen Lizra!!!
the way you know a channel goes deep instead of just scratching the surface: it puts out a 80 min conversation, knowing its audience has the attention span to process that. i love it!
I am up because I am not sleepy. I needed this interview. Thank you. I’ve not finished it yet but I know this is for me. 🙏🏽 I am liking this before I finish.
Living in a reserved, super PC culture it's wonderful to hear all this, like balm to the soul! Thank you, Lewis, for inviting Chen Lizra, and all the other great people to your podcasts; You are making the world a better place for us all!
Chen is awesome. Her knowledge of somatic intelligence is the equivalent of neuroscience. The body is just as important as the brain. Scientific research could uncover more knowledge about somatic science, which could be a new branch of science.
This talk hits upon so many topics that I am questioning right now. Rebuilding boundaries, finding your calling, hitting rock bottom, healing the body which heals trauma, the Cuban concept of physical self love and the healing that comes from it. Thank you so much, Chen Lizra and Louis. I really needed this. PS - can anyone spell out for me that Cuban concept of physical self love? Is it "cebura cura?" I don't know any Spanish and am not sure how to type it out. Thank you!
It is sabrosura :) "Sabroso" means delicious, "Sabrosura" is something like a delicious energy, delicious attitude, filled with sensuality and really enjoyable for the person/thing that has it and people around. If you're feeling it yourself it can mean, as Chen said, to enjoy yourself. I'm from México and we use that word sometimes too, I've mostly heard it used in other spanish-speaking countries (specially Cuba, yep).
Clarisse, so great that this touched on so many things that you are working on. I hope it gave you insights and propelled you forward. Melis, I couldn't have described it better myself. You got it!
You have no idea how the universe has brought this into my life today.. Lewis Thank you for sharing this... This is so incredible. I work with Women and Kids to help them get past their body bullies, old stories and belief patterns. We are unfortunately in a world of constant comparison and expectations and even the kids I see are so stressed, so down and It makes my heart sad that this happens so early. My mission is to bring back confidence to women and kids by changing our language to ourselves...and when we are able to choose better, others will follow. I never knew this was a thing, Im fascinated by it and looking into her retreats now! On a side note, I'm now about to take up Cuban Salsa as of Thursday to learn more! Second side note.. Keep doing what you do. Your realness is what the world needs. Megs x
Amazing. I actually had tears on how she mentions the timing. That’s where so many of us are off. She’s an amazing woman. Thank You Lewis for such awesome interviews. So grateful!
Chen Lizra 28 minutes in, little past 31 minutes. Mention tempo, which I relate to timing. I notice this with allot of people they have a state of mind “they must always be doing something”. They can’t just enjoy quiet moments once the work/play is done. This is where you know you find happiness. As well as being able to pause on critical moments during speech, something that you are about to devour, making love. Much like you mention “enjoying the journey”. Being in that now moment. These also shed our addictions as we are not “always seeking” always expecting. Putting high exceptions for whatever comes out way. If we are in that Happiness state, we are allowed to love. Fear is another state, that allows us to suffer. I choose to love, therefore my life is happiness and meaningful. I love myself 100 percent. That pours over to others no mater who and what they are. I appreciate your true “unity” . Thank You! Have a new UA-cam Viewer :)
Valentino, this is it! When people get addicted to the pace of the race they don't know anyone how to be with just BEING. It's all DOING nonstop. We must allow those gaps for the "machine" called our body to catch up, and for us to clear "cache". Most people when they do nothing feel GUILTY. That's just crazy. We need balance. And I love that you used the word UNITY because I used to live in duality and then I was in a rainbow festival and there was a teacher there that lived in unity. Experiencing this person shifted my view on life, I started working on unity. Now it is all one. And that's where true essence lives. You are absolutely right that it is about LOVE. Love your comments.. very sharp. You connected deeply with what I said and you got it. Welcome to our tribe!
It’s such a backwards thing to truly understand. Thank You! I have only understood this for myself four months ago. Since then been a teacher, no master of this tribal knowledge is absolute. Finding myself to always be learning. Also when I teach I find something new each time for me to learn. That it spans across the world. Sometimes I think I am the one who has gone crazy in my thinking. It’s when hear people talk or talk to someone realize I use to be just like them. It’s a self reflecting moment that makes me emotional to a point I want them to experience what I found. Again thank you for your feedback. Lewis thank you so much. You are among the great minds that broke me out. This all came from myself trying to please others. Rather than seeing myself and loving myself, then doing for others.
When we break from the heard we do feel like maybe we are crazy at first. But in reality we are not. The rest of the world is the one that needs to catch up. I am happy that this interview and talk got you validated. At the end of the day we are all students. A teacher that stops being a student gets stuck because growth is a lifelong process. And what Lewis created is amazing. It's not for nothing that I wanted to be on his Podcast. I knew that the way he interviews and sees education will bring this message in a powerful way so people will get it. :) It's wonderful that you have grown so much from all of his podcasts. The School of Greatness is great!
Amazing lady! She has such an effortless poise and what she shares here is priceless in every aspect of life. I am so glad I clicked on this. This is one of the best interviews on your channel!♡
Playfulness is one of his strong elements, and adding elegance balances his true nature. He is close to true nature as it is. It's small adjustments but normally the small adjustments have the biggest impact, which is why you felt it in him right away. And you saw it well, elegance added something to his personality that made him more attractive as a human being. So small yet so impactful :) Good call ;)
Chen Lizra keep up the GREAT work. Ur ability to put body language into words was breathtaking. I was like a sponge taking it all in. I've developed what u described in this episode for the last 5yrs. I feel empowered, liberated, being able to accept myself & my imperfections but owning it. I love it😍
AMAZING! Thank you for being here and for taking such a beautiful route of self-love. If we all just did exactly that this world would change completely. Kudos for all the effort you have put in and thank you for joining our tribe :)
Lewis, I often wondered why I like you so much. Now I know it's your charm. You come through as authentic and kind. Really enjoy watching your interviews. Great interview and Chen Lizra is so elegant.
I love this section when Chen starts talking about the 5 elements of somatic intelligence, Lewis pushes aside his Ipad, sits back, crosses his hands and look at that smile "now lady, you have my attention" ahaha, I can totally see how he's taken by her words and starting feeling "the heat" lol! He must be thinking, I wanna be in Cuba now, right now Ahaha!! It's just a flight ticket away...Be bold!
Love this video. Very inspiring. Thank you both! The interview had this fun playful vibe AND conveyed msg so important and profound all at the same time. 👏👏👏
Glad you took so much out of it Rebecca and come and join one of the retreats - the one for women of the sabrosura is in Havana. Would love to host you :)
Just by hearing the intro i hit like! I know this is going to be a really good one! Also, when you talked about her ted talk, i imediatelly recalled it. I loved her ted talk
Oh my, what 2 beautiful people :) They have such smiles full of light :) Both! I so need a solo meditation retreat :) meditation truly changes one's life. And what a nice gentleman :) Greetings from Portugal :)
Brilliant mind is easy readable in her eyes! Clever, emotionally perspicacious, she owns that self-awareness Lewis! That is where from she has high social intelligence. Her figure also speaks about the persona inside-out. But again, the conversation would not be so fruitful if there is not an excellent interlocutor and listener. Thank You Man!
Many thanks for Your feedback and all the brightness that You share with us. I soak up souls with my tangible senses. I do it instinctively, through visual and listening. In every word, sentence from this dialogue, one can learn a lot. Lewis is a jewel in my life-long-learn yard. Look forward to new conversations!
I love this :-). It's so true that we often live upstairs. When I paint and draw I feel I land in my body. A guest left your book behind (at my work in my city Jerusalem). I am reading it now. Interesting how the things we create travel through the world!
what i mean is body posture is an automatic response... we at times ignore but we need to be more self aware.. its a signal on how we feel , a way to pay attention to your action... for instance at a meeting or even on a dinner sitting up straight shows assertiveness also leaning forward speaking lets the person know how interested you are. and you can know its ok once the other person starts to mirror you... there so much to say on posture but the reminder is endless because of our emotions...
Powerful points! You know your stuff... and this is so important because our body communicates all the time and if we are not aware enough we send the wrong message :)
def have my trauma to heal, god i hope i can learn boundries faster than that, not that im thinking her journey was bad, its personal for all of us. Thought if it does, i do know well that perseverance she talks about. it dosent stop. and i appreciate her "no one knew how to deal with it" because especially then it was worse and even now its not the best.
I appreciated this interview very much! Maybe you will have her invited again. To speak more on ethics of seduction. She did touch a bit on it, but I believe there is more need on the light side of seduction. For one, I have many challenges with seduction and its misuse. I have few good (healthy) examples of seductors / seductresses
i loved the video but may i give some advice for the person who cuts the video? when Chen shows something about how to change the posture i d actually like to see how she was before and then the change. it s nice to see Lewis' face and all but i acutally came to the video to see the posture-part cause you can obviously not see it in the podcast ^^ also if you d have shown the sheet she brought in the camera (or showed a scanned version while Chen and Lewis were looking at it) it would ve been great to see as well... just some ideas... other than that though, keep doing what you r doing. absolutely loved this episode!! Greetings from Austria :)
You can see it here www.powerofsomaticintelligence.com/our-method/ and the reason that some things were missed is that they never had an interview before where someone stood up and demonstrated. I kind of took them by surprise. Since somatics are a physical thing I felt it was necessary but this never happened before in any interview :)
I went to CUBA for 5 days and fell in LOVE. The PPl were soo nice, and I felt at home and celebrated because Im dominican and i kind of look like them and they all knew i was dominican by my spanish accent. It was so refreshing not using the internet, talking, seeing such kind, intelligent souls. Theres a lot of issues of course but they wee so passionate and kind. Howeverrr... Dominicans dance alot better hahaha
You described so many feelings that I have too. I fell in love with the people and the culture. It is refreshing no doubt. And as for dancing better... hell no! lol Wait till you'll meet all my Cuban professional dancers. You will be blown away. I have no clue where you went dancing, but where I go.. your jaw will drop :)
Ha ha ha..Lewis is so charming that we both worked our charm on each other and it made it fun. We both have playful personalities. And you are right, I make sure to give an example in how I live for what I teach... Beautiful distinction :)
Can anyone share more resources (readings, keywords, podcasts, videos, tutorials, anything) on how to get more connected to your body when you're used to be more intellectual than physical? Not just yoga, are there other practices one can try? Things to have in mind? This was a great episode, Lewis, I love Chen's energy
Melis Hi. Body awareness, sensory awareness, use of body , mind body connection are good keywords to go through on podcasts, videos, books. I know Eckhart Tolle talks about sensory awareness, there are some techniques ; Alexander technique and Feldenkrais Technique. They work on use of the body as an instrument. There are some taster videos of both on youtube. Also body relaxing guided meditations and breathing techniques works well. Hope you find some gems!
Drumming, especially in a group, e.g. samba or African drumming. Also dance - I do partner dancing (kizomba and salsa) where my role is not to think but to respond to my leader who is responding to the music. Transcendental.
Great interview, thank you. What upset me though were the moments when the camera focus was supposed to be on Chen because she was explaining with her posture, and instead i had to watch Lewis's interested expression. Feels like I missed important things, that's very annoying.
I wish that the camera was on her whenever she was giving her examples. She’s like, “see the effect this has?” And I’m like, “no, I just watched Lewis’ face during your demo 😂”
Sabrosura hmm I think I lost mine down the back of the sofa a few years back. Lewis please send me to Chen! please help me find it! Is there anything happening in the UK? A brilliant, amazing interview thank you
Watched👌New perspective to looking on human nature Even in marriages this is useful Never take for granted but use your charm to refresh relations. It was funny how she made you a student Test😁passed Mathemetics of charm 👌
Lewis Howes Same here. Appreciate you. So grateful for what you've created and keep on living. Very inspiring. I'm grateful for you as a mysterious, evolving and creating BE-ing. Already great and still curious to learn. :) Thank you. ❤
Thank you for the beautiful and kind words. I really feel that my calling is to set an example for people of how we can turn the darkness to the most inspiring beauty ever, so inspiring that you would not change a thing about your journey :) Thank you for joining us
Yes, we need to have energetic boundaries become we can comfortably turn on the charm. Maybe if we think of it as human-to-human connection, rather than man-woman connection, it will take out the unwanted elements, e.g. sexual.
I was thinking about that !,, that 's the injustice that bothers me, that a woman must always be alert and not peaceful due to this, but I think it has to do with the region/country you live in... I 'm thinking of moving to a very civilized country right now, so ...lol. I might be able to pull this off..!!!...
Charm attracts in a non sexual way which is person to person. The element of mystery brings in sexual seduction. You just need to learn the difference and how to activate each. And it also has to do with clear boundaries :)
This charmiming man, who knows so much "bout theses things, to die by yourside, the plesaser the priviliage is all mine, if a 10 ten truck ploughs into us & killls us, the pleasure the privilige is mine - MORRISSEY Im In Love With you, plesase don"t leave me, but i can it, take it like a fuckin' man...
I'm cuban and this helped me understand myself in a deeper level, Sabrosura is like autopilot for us. Hear someone to decode it and explain it so well,wow.....Gracias Chen Lizra!!!
🙌
the way you know a channel goes deep instead of just scratching the surface: it puts out a 80 min conversation, knowing its audience has the attention span to process that. i love it!
Bingo!
She's amazingly wise and he is a great listener, goes along with her questions too!
I am up because I am not sleepy. I needed this interview. Thank you. I’ve not finished it yet but I know this is for me. 🙏🏽 I am liking this before I finish.
Yes, would love to hear your take aways :)

Yes, this was an honour to be on the podcast., Thank you for helping share the message worldwide so we won't lose this knowledge from this world.

Thank you for this wonderful feedback Shooka
This is one of the interviews I regularly go back to!
I just loved it!!! Chen is such a great woman....Hopefully everybody will get what she actually means!!!
ThanX love... the interview has been received with love
This is absolutely fascinating. She’s eloquently putting into words abstract thoughts I’ve been contemplating for years💓
I think this is my favorite interview EVER.
Lewis, I often wondered why I like you so much. Now I know it's your charm. You come through as authentic and kind. Really enjoy watching your interviews. Great interview and Chen Lizra is so elegant.
Thank you!
Absolutely love this. Innovative. Freeing. Her journey is encouraging
Thank you Sierra
Every time she said sabrosura I just wished I could be there to see her say it in person. That hit my core ❤️
Thank you Valerie, you made me laugh captioning this
One of the most impactful interviews I have seen on your channel! Packed with authenticity and truth, thank you! :)
Thank you for the kind words :)
Love this video. Very inspiring. Thank you both! The interview had this fun playful vibe AND conveyed msg so important and profound all at the same time. 👏👏👏
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it and noticed both these things
The dance. It’s all about channeling your energy to attract what you want. We all do it even when we don’t think about it.
This is so so so true! The trick is to activate it when we want to.. and not to just wait for chance
What a beautiful human being! So wise and down to earth. Thank you for this interview Lewis
Thank you for the kind words :)
This interview really spoke to me. I love this subject and it is not talked about too frequently these days. Also makes me want to visit Cuba!
Glad you took so much out of it Rebecca and come and join one of the retreats - the one for women of the sabrosura is in Havana. Would love to host you :)

Thank you for joining us and I am glad all of this went deep/ Let's make this world a better place
Grateful for the work she's done! Thank you
Brilliant mind is easy readable in her eyes! Clever, emotionally perspicacious, she owns that self-awareness Lewis! That is where from she has high social intelligence. Her figure also speaks about the persona inside-out. But again, the conversation would not be so fruitful if there is not an excellent interlocutor and listener. Thank You Man!

Great observations Jana. It feels like you really see me and Lewis.
Many thanks for Your feedback and all the brightness that You share with us. I soak up souls with my tangible senses. I do it instinctively, through visual and listening. The body seriously has so much more information in it than we like to give credit too. Thanks for this interview, some seriously awesome stuff!
Lewish you are a rock-star! So glad you tuned in and took so much from it, Heightened Living
Fantastic interview. Love it. I'm going to Cuba to train and dance and play with Chen for sure! Thanks, Lewis.
Waiting for you Dara :)
I love how she describes Cuba. I had the same experience when I was there in 2017 before hurricane Maria
Thank you Amanda
this a great reminder especially the part about your body posture...
Tell us more about what you mean
what i mean is body posture is an automatic response... we at times ignore but we need to be more self aware.. its a signal on how we feel , a way to pay attention to your action... for instance at a meeting or even on a dinner sitting up straight shows assertiveness also leaning forward speaking lets the person know how interested you are. and you can know its ok once the other person starts to mirror you...
there so much to say on posture but the reminder is endless because of our emotions...
Powerful points! You know your stuff... and this is so important because our body communicates all the time and if we are not aware enough we send the wrong message :)
AGREED. and in essence true... :--) thank you.
This is the one of my favorite episode❤

Wonderful :)
Wao....Really an amazing video Lewis. I loved it. Thanks a lot to both of u bringing forward a new version of life .thanks .great work
You got it.. it's about showing humanity an alternative way of living that will get us happier :) THank you Lewis for having me
What a great podcast. What a beautiful woman 👏

other than that though, keep doing what you r doing. absolutely loved this episode!! Greetings from Austria :)

Thank you Patricia :)
looks like lewis is truly impressed by her energy...he's more fidgety than usual. she practices what she preaches :)
Ha ha ha..Lewis is so charming that we both worked our charm on each other and it made it fun. We both have playful personalities. And you are right, I make sure to give an example in how I live for what I teach... Beautiful distinction :)
Great episode, Lewis. Thank you. A note: your breathing deliberately and loudly is little annoying.
Interesting how Lewis adjusts his posture and mirrors her position of elegance..
❤️ Great video ! It supports me a lot ! Thank you !
Amazing!
And read my blog www.powerofsomaticintelligence.com/blog :)
Drumming, especially in a group, e.g. samba or African drumming. Also dance - I do partner dancing (kizomba and salsa) where my role is not to think but to respond to my leader who is responding to the music. Transcendental.
Yes, hi Dara, the drums are the sound of our heart beats... they sooth us :) Great example
Melis dancing is a great way to connect, as well as meditation and connecting to your breath.
Lewis is clearly charmed. as we can see this stuff works :P
Chen is a real master
Love your comment... we charmed each other. Lewis is a charmer too :) lol

Thank you for the kind words
This was so amazing. Thank you both.
Thank you
Great interview, thank you.
What upset me though were the moments when the camera focus was supposed to be on Chen because she was explaining with her posture, and instead i had to watch Lewis's interested expression. Feels like I missed important things, that's very annoying.
You are BEAUTIFUL, Lewis!!
FOREVER!! I will FOREVER love you!
This is greata! I'm going to watch this later during my car ride, I hadn't known about somatic intelligence

I wish that the camera was on her whenever she was giving her examples. She’s like, “see the effect this has?” And I’m like, “no, I just watched Lewis’ face during your demo 😂”

Lewis Howes Same here. Appreciate you. So grateful for what you've created and keep on living. Very inspiring. I'm grateful for you as a mysterious, evolving and creating BE-ing. Already great and still curious to learn. :) Thank you. ❤

((((((( BEAUTIFUL MINDS FULL OF LIFE ))))))))
I still don't understand the elegance part!! Is it just thinking a certain way and shifting your mindset to a peaceful one

Lewis you uploaded the wrong file... Steve cook podcast reupload
I disagree with her politics, but I’m sold on everything else.
I love this but I could not find her on Facebook under CLIZRA and I don’t have Instagram. . . Did anybody else find her on Facebook?
ThanX Lewis and welcome Colleen
You have to be very careful too there's a lot of people who are very narcissistic and a bad way and you might portrayed as Elegance.
True essence is a balanced state so there is not too much of anything. The trick is to learn how to balance the elements correctly within us :)
It’s probably really healthy for women to watch this.... fewwww breath again
first baby
i don't like to 'turn my charm on' because i don't want to attract attention of others or get any hassle from guys
Hi there Dara, love what you said here
