    I'm cuban and this helped me understand myself in a deeper level, Sabrosura is like autopilot for us. Hear someone to decode it and explain it so well,wow.....Gracias Chen Lizra!!!

    the way you know a channel goes deep instead of just scratching the surface: it puts out a 80 min conversation, knowing its audience has the attention span to process that. i love it!

    Chen is awesome. Her knowledge of somatic intelligence is the equivalent of neuroscience. The body is just as important as the brain. Scientific research could uncover more knowledge about somatic science, which could be a new branch of science.

    This talk hits upon so many topics that I am questioning right now.
    Rebuilding boundaries, finding your calling, hitting rock bottom, healing the body which heals trauma, the Cuban concept of physical self love and the healing that comes from it.
    Thank you so much, Chen Lizra and Louis. I really needed this.
    PS - can anyone spell out for me that Cuban concept of physical self love?
    Is it "cebura cura?"
    I don't know any Spanish and am not sure how to type it out. Thank you!

      It is sabrosura :) "Sabroso" means delicious, "Sabrosura" is something like a delicious energy, delicious attitude, filled with sensuality and really enjoyable for the person/thing that has it and people around. If you're feeling it yourself it can mean, as Chen said, to enjoy yourself. I'm from México and we use that word sometimes too, I've mostly heard it used in other spanish-speaking countries (specially Cuba, yep).

    You have no idea how the universe has brought this into my life today.. Lewis Thank you for sharing this... This is so incredible. I work with Women and Kids to help them get past their body bullies, old stories and belief patterns. We are unfortunately in a world of constant comparison and expectations and even the kids I see are so stressed, so down and It makes my heart sad that this happens so early. My mission is to bring back confidence to women and kids by changing our language to ourselves...and when we are able to choose better, others will follow.
    I never knew this was a thing, Im fascinated by it and looking into her retreats now!
    On a side note, I'm now about to take up Cuban Salsa as of Thursday to learn more!
    Second side note.. Keep doing what you do. Your realness is what the world needs.
    Megs x

    Amazing. I actually had tears on how she mentions the timing. That’s where so many of us are off. She’s an amazing woman. Thank You Lewis for such awesome interviews. So grateful!

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому

      What do you mean by timing?? Thank you for this beautiful sharing

    • @korban007
      @korban007 6 років тому

      Chen Lizra 28 minutes in, little past 31 minutes. Mention tempo, which I relate to timing. I notice this with allot of people they have a state of mind “they must always be doing something”. They can’t just enjoy quiet moments once the work/play is done. This is where you know you find happiness. As well as being able to pause on critical moments during speech, something that you are about to devour, making love. Much like you mention “enjoying the journey”. Being in that now moment. These also shed our addictions as we are not “always seeking” always expecting. Putting high exceptions for whatever comes out way. If we are in that Happiness state, we are allowed to love. Fear is another state, that allows us to suffer. I choose to love, therefore my life is happiness and meaningful. I love myself 100 percent. That pours over to others no mater who and what they are. I appreciate your true “unity” . Thank You! Have a new UA-cam Viewer :)

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому +1

      Valentino, this is it! When people get addicted to the pace of the race they don't know anyone how to be with just BEING. It's all DOING nonstop. We must allow those gaps for the "machine" called our body to catch up, and for us to clear "cache". Most people when they do nothing feel GUILTY. That's just crazy. We need balance. And I love that you used the word UNITY because I used to live in duality and then I was in a rainbow festival and there was a teacher there that lived in unity. Experiencing this person shifted my view on life, I started working on unity. Now it is all one. And that's where true essence lives. You are absolutely right that it is about LOVE. Love your comments.. very sharp. You connected deeply with what I said and you got it. Welcome to our tribe!

    • @korban007
      @korban007 6 років тому

      It’s such a backwards thing to truly understand. Thank You! I have only understood this for myself four months ago. Since then been a teacher, no master of this tribal knowledge is absolute. Finding myself to always be learning. Also when I teach I find something new each time for me to learn. That it spans across the world. Sometimes I think I am the one who has gone crazy in my thinking. It’s when hear people talk or talk to someone realize I use to be just like them. It’s a self reflecting moment that makes me emotional to a point I want them to experience what I found. Again thank you for your feedback. Lewis thank you so much. You are among the great minds that broke me out. This all came from myself trying to please others. Rather than seeing myself and loving myself, then doing for others.

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому

      When we break from the heard we do feel like maybe we are crazy at first. But in reality we are not. The rest of the world is the one that needs to catch up. I am happy that this interview and talk got you validated. At the end of the day we are all students. A teacher that stops being a student gets stuck because growth is a lifelong process. And what Lewis created is amazing. It's not for nothing that I wanted to be on his Podcast. I knew that the way he interviews and sees education will bring this message in a powerful way so people will get it. :) It's wonderful that you have grown so much from all of his podcasts. The School of Greatness is great!

      Playfulness is one of his strong elements, and adding elegance balances his true nature. He is close to true nature as it is. It's small adjustments but normally the small adjustments have the biggest impact, which is why you felt it in him right away. And you saw it well, elegance added something to his personality that made him more attractive as a human being. So small yet so impactful :) Good call ;)

    this a great reminder especially the part about your body posture...

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому

      Tell us more about what you mean

    • @3EBstudio
      @3EBstudio 6 років тому

      what i mean is body posture is an automatic response... we at times ignore but we need to be more self aware.. its a signal on how we feel , a way to pay attention to your action... for instance at a meeting or even on a dinner sitting up straight shows assertiveness also leaning forward speaking lets the person know how interested you are. and you can know its ok once the other person starts to mirror you...
      there so much to say on posture but the reminder is endless because of our emotions...

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому +1

      Powerful points! You know your stuff... and this is so important because our body communicates all the time and if we are not aware enough we send the wrong message :)

    i loved the video but may i give some advice for the person who cuts the video? when Chen shows something about how to change the posture i d actually like to see how she was before and then the change. it s nice to see Lewis' face and all but i acutally came to the video to see the posture-part cause you can obviously not see it in the podcast ^^
    also if you d have shown the sheet she brought in the camera (or showed a scanned version while Chen and Lewis were looking at it) it would ve been great to see as well... just some ideas...
    other than that though, keep doing what you r doing. absolutely loved this episode!! Greetings from Austria :)

      Melis Hi. Body awareness, sensory awareness, use of body , mind body connection are good keywords to go through on podcasts, videos, books. I know Eckhart Tolle talks about sensory awareness, there are some techniques ; Alexander technique and Feldenkrais Technique.They work on use of the body as an instrument. There are some taster videos of both on youtube. Also body relaxing guided meditations and breathing techniques works well. Hope you find some gems!

    Great interview, thank you.
    What upset me though were the moments when the camera focus was supposed to be on Chen because she was explaining with her posture, and instead i had to watch Lewis's interested expression. Feels like I missed important things, that's very annoying.

    • @KizombaGalway
      @KizombaGalway 6 років тому +1

      Yes, we need to have energetic boundaries become we can comfortably turn on the charm. Maybe if we think of it as human-to-human connection, rather than man-woman connection, it will take out the unwanted elements, e.g. sexual.

    • @weirdamazonssandalsummer2148
      @weirdamazonssandalsummer2148 6 років тому

      I was thinking about that !,, that 's the injustice that bothers me, that a woman must always be alert and not peaceful due to this, but I think it has to do with the region/country you live in... I 'm thinking of moving to a very civilized country right now, so ...lol. I might be able to pull this off..!!!...

    • @ChenLizra
      @ChenLizra 6 років тому

      Charm attracts in a non sexual way which is person to person. The element of mystery brings in sexual seduction. You just need to learn the difference and how to activate each. And it also has to do with clear boundaries :)
