My mom downsized her dining table and I took it ! It's great, it expands to over 96 inches ! A corner is for my machine, the rest for cutting, ironing, and laying out my quilt. I use a wooden TV tray on the side for quick pressing and small trays for holding "stuff". Recycle, repurpose, real fun. Have a great day, hugs 'n love ❤🤗🥰❤
That will work! Sounds like you have a nice setup. I have a room that I need to paint and redo and I’ll move my quilting into it hopefully in the next few months
@barrysquilts I also use pegboards to hang up my rulers, extra scissors, etc. , so nice ! I use a bin to hold my cones of threads, this way they don't get dusty but I can see what I have. My best buy was getting wire racks (used different wheels) and putting all my fabric in bins, they stay clean and free from insects. If you have closet space using pant hangers to hold large amounts of fabric is great , less wrinkles, 😃. Well enjoy your journey, I'm 70 and only started a few years back, I have so much to learn ! The fun is in the doing. Hugs 'n love ❤️🤗🥰❤️
My husband got me this table 2 years ago for Christmas. Love it. The best thing about it is that it's very sturdy and when I sew there's no vibration. Also I went to the dollar store and found some trays that are thin enough to fit in the drawers so I can separate things. Enjoyed your video. Thanks.
I work at HD and have been looking at these tables for a while now, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks it would make a good sewing table. Being able to adust the height is a optimal. I've looked at other adustable tables, what you show here is reasonable.
The quilting marine UA-cam channel is brilliant. He doesn't spend a fortune on supplies and is easy to watch and learn from his journey. I love his channel
I am so proud of you for coming into the quilting world and coming in big!! It took me years of quilting to get a decent machine and table. Yours was on my wish list. You will love it! If you have any questions feel free to reach out ask. Quilters are a special group of the kindest people you will ever meet. I will enjoy following your journey. Welcome to our world!
I love your table, what a great idea! I have my older Viking machine perched on top of an old sewing cabinet because I’m hooked on all the little drawers!
I've had 2 of them (one with drawers and one without) for a few years now. You'll have to be aware of your knees if you keep your machine on top of the one with drawers. Because of that we keep one of ours for laying out quilt pieces waiting to be used. The 2nd one is used for holding bulky quilt tops while sewing additional pieces or rows. We use the drawers for organizing smaller rulers. It works great for that. I think you're really going to enjoy your new table for many years to come! Congrats on your new addition!
Great idea. I am using a large drafting table that was given to me, it's heavy duty. I wanted some more room sometimes on top so I purchased a sheet of thin strong wood 45×90 cut in four(so I could carry it), ducted taped it back together so I can quilt sandwich and sew a large quilt. I am so happy for you to start quilting.
I fully understand and a drafting table is an excellent idea. I was looking at used dining tables on Facebook and just happened to see this at Home Depot and my impulsive nature took over lol.
I bought one of these five years ago. Less than half of what a “sewing table” cost at the sewing stores. Love I can crank up the table height, too when I cut out fabric. I love it. Great big drawers hold all of my rulers and such! It is always very easy to move, and then can lock the wheels! I don’t regret getting it at all. Also wider front to back than a regular sewing cabinet. Easy to assemble from the box instructions. Enjoy!
Have a wonderful break. Hope you are gifted unending ideas for the future. I look forward to Wednesday to just sit and listen to you work. You keep us interested and challenged. Please know we value you greatly.
Great choice!! I have 2 husky tables! One like yours with the draws (which are very handy to store my pressing cloth and my rotating mat, etc.) and another one longer without drawers. It holds my 24 x 36 cutting mat and the other (like yours) holds my 24 x 48 Ironing board that my husband and I made--that is removable. Best part---I push them together and have a HUGE working space (48x 52/62) and they can be made the same exact height!. I move mine around depending on my use, but mostly they are back to back, so the little bit of mat overhang ends up just under my ironing board on the other table. I use the 3m command hook tapes on the mat corners, so my cutting mat stays put but still removable if necessary. I have 3 machines but when I bind a large quilt, I use my portable machine and set it up on this big workspace! And, the best part--wood and metal, not genuine particle board laminate at 3 times the price. My next purchase...a 5 drawer metal tool chest. The Kobalt brand comes in colors!! Yay!
@@davidborcky8721 the one with the drawers lowers to desk height while the one without the drawers lowers to bar height. I have one grandchild who will use the back side of the drawer one to sew as it gives her more legroom
This looks awesome. I was checking it out myself last week. I'm in the process of setting up and organizing my room and need a table. Hope this works out for you. 😊
I have been wanting to get this table… I think it would be perfect as a cutting table and storage for quilt rules / rotary cutters. Looking forward to hearing how you like working with it.
It would be great for that. The drawers are in my way a little for sewing. I’m going to get the one without drawers for that use this one like you said - for cutting and ruler storage etc.
I have two of those tables. I use one as an ironing station and the other as a cutting table. I love mine! They have wheels that lock it in place or unlock to be moved easily.
I have this one too, I use it for cutting and pressing and move it all over the place depending on what I’m doing. It’s great for holding up the quilt when adding binding on
I have that exact table for my sewing machine. It has worked so well. I love the smooth surface, the strong metal construction, and the smooth enormous drawers. I use two jewelry trays to store my feet, needles, and assorted accessories for my machine. I also have a small mechanics storage units to house my big singer tabletop iron, my serger threads, bias bindings, zippers, cords, and belting for purse handles. So much better than melamine covered oriented strand board that the lower end cabinets are made of.
I finally got two and both are different sizes. Great adjustable tables. Holds most of my rulers and embroidery hoops. The store delivered them to my door each time and I hired a friend to put them together. Great purchase and so much cheaper than sewing cabinets. I had the bottom cross piece put towards the back instead of the middle which gives me more foot room.
Bought this same table from Home Depot. My sewing machine sits at one end and my cutting mat at the other end. My mat is the 36 x 24. Bought a great adjustable chair at Office Max for it. Behind my machine I have an Ott light for extra lighting. Just the best purchase I made this past summer.
Thank you and he says hi 😀 check to see if the drawers will be a problem for you. They do have a no drawer version you might like better but it’s a trade off.
What a great idea. I really like the drawers in the table and there is lots of table top space for the quilting. ❤I love your Brother machine. I have two of them (different models) and love them both. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome table. I’m obsessed with those drawers. I bought an IKEA desk that raises pretty high. The best sewing tables are the ones where the base of the machine is level with the rest of the table. That helps no matter what kind of sewing you’re doing, whether it’s quilting or home decor or garment creation.
A man's quilting table!! 😊👍 Down for sewing, up for cutting! Very nice. I like my cutting mat on the left, then using it while I'm sewing m y machine doesn't get in my way. Way to go Barry!
Hey, I'm glad I found your channels pretty interesting. I'm always looking for different options to utilize my sewing machines and my talents. Good for you. Thank you sir
I bought a shop work bench that has a butcher block top, that is about waist high. It’s in my sewing room as a cutting/work table. Perfect height for me.
I got one of these last year also from Home Depot. Got it pre-assembled and on sale. Paid just over $200 after taxes. I love that it is height adjustable
I just did the same thing! Home Depot, but I got the 72 inch one. Cost a lot more, but I have room for my machine, and a small ironing wool mat, AND a small cutting mat!. Absolutely LOVE mine! I decided on the 72 inch one because I have a VERY small quilting space and didn't really have room to add another table for cutting and pressing.
I think I’m going to do exactly the same thing. I’m going to buy a 72 inch with no drawers and use it as my sewing table. This one will be my cutting table.
What a great find. And you know, that's what enjoying your craft is all about, finding the items that will work to make your sewing life easier. And for a bonus, it raises?! Enjoy sewing with your new Juki on it!!!
I've seen a number of people who use that same table. I considered it when I set up my new sewing room a few years ago. I just wanted a little bigger space because I have a couple of different machines that I use.
I have had my Husky table for several years and love it. I am short so chose not to put on the wheels or the drawers so the machine would be at an ergonomic height for me. I have a Sew Steady extended platform that is clear and I store my frequently used tools under it and can see and reach them easily.
My husband bought that table for me 2 years ago for Christmas. I use it for a cutting table. My actual sewing table is one that my machine sits in so that the sewing surface is flush with the table top. I’m not extremely tall, and that puts less stress on my shoulders.
Yes - there is more than one way! I was going to get a dining table until I saw this online and next thing I know I am a proud owner of a husky table lol.
I also bought the quilting table from Home Depot over a year ago. I plan on getting another for my Acquilt cutter. I have a small room and think this will be perfect for it.
Great idea, thanks for sharing. I use my Grandfather's dinged up old desk that was made in 30s. My hubby bought me a large dining table that's a cutting table❤
Very nice set up Barry. I'm sure you'll get a lot of pleasure from working on it. I also sew clothes, so needed a very long table at the right height for pinning patterns and cutting out large pieces of fabric. Bought two Ikea trestles which can be moved up or down and placed a long (32x92) on top. Works a treat😊
Great purchase! You are really going to enjoy the versatility of this piece. I have had mine for a couple of years now and I love, love, love it! Happy Quilting!
Great addition to a sewing room and way to think outside the box! If you are looking for a pressing table, the 60 in. Three Drawer Hardwood Workbench at Harbor Freight makes a great one -- easy glide drawers, storage shelf underneath, repurpose the peg holes to store scissors, and the vice on the end can be used to hang bottles of Best Press and measuring tape etc., and beautiful enough wood that it looks nice in a sewing room vs. just a garage, You would want to put something over the top (a few layers of batting folded over which can be stapled under the lip and backside of the bench top & a decorative or utility fabric or denim as your pressing cover). The current one is a bit different than the pre-2020 model & current price is $179. Hi to Steve (I think I heard the name right) -- hope he shows up in future videos!
Love this Barry. I was seriously considering a Husky workbench for my quilting station before I just ended up getting a secondhand desk. I'll keep your review in mind when it comes time for an upgrade. Thanks for sharing (and for sharing Steve, what a cutie!)
My husband made my tables. They aren’t as fancy (adjustable) as your Home Depot one, but they fit my space. I would recommend you go to a big quilt show and try out several long arm machines before you decide on which one you like best. There are a lot choices, and you can get special show pricing.
Yes. I bought mine several years ago when they first came out. It was just about$200 I use mine for my embroidery machine next to my longarm so I can multitask! Love it! Now I'm searching for a table that I can use to make my sewing machine level with the top , giving me a large flat surface for rug making.
I use the same table for my very large, and heavy Janome CM17 combo sewing/ embroidery machine- and it is awesome for high speed embroidery, and regular sewing
yes Steve good choice you need something solid and sturdy for your cutting and your machine, as time goes on your will see that you will want a table for each. Can't wait to see your first quilt, congratulations on the new Juki they are popular, I have a Baby Lock don't have to worry about oiling just keep it clean.
Good to know it doesn't shake when you run your machine, I had wondered about those. I'm rearranging where I sew so I've been cutting and sewing standing up at the kitchen counter. Plenty of handy plugs, very long surface, but I won't want to do that forever. A butcher block surface mounted on some vintage drawer-type units could work, maybe a shorter chest of drawers at one end and legs to fit at the other.
When putting my sewing room together, my husband bought a similar workbench for me. I don’t use it for my machine, but I put my AccuQuilt on it. Like you said, no vibration when using it. I also have my rotating cutting mat in it. One drawer that holds a ton of stuff (and not nearly as neat as yours). Really handy and very sturdy. If I don’t want it anymore, my husband will put it in the garage. Love your channel!
Hi Barry, your channel just popped up in my feed. I watched your unboxing of your Juki. I was wondering what made you try quilting, but you explained it nicely. I know from watching another UA-cam channel that the Amish have some quilt stores; you may enjoy going into one and talking to one of the ladies about quilting. I am certain they would not mind sharing their knowledge. You mentioned that you are also on a weight loss journey, I wish you the best of luck with that. I love the fact that you didn't let being a man stop you from getting into sewing and quilting. My ex-husband would sooner have his left hand removed than sew. I have a new Juki quilting edition that is still sitting in the box and has been for I would say, around a year now. I also have a babylock sewing machine and a serger. I fell into a deep depression in roughly 2004, and rather than support me, my husband decided it was time for a divorce. This obviously didn't help the depression any at all. I learned to knit when I was 5, and crochet at age 7. Basically, I love creating no matter what it is. And when I fell into the depression I stopped doing all the things that I loved to do. It is a long story, but I am getting closer to having my space to where I can create again, and then I will take my Juki out of the box. I am so eager to sew right now. I also like to sew my own clothes so I purchased one of the ergonomic desks that raise up, only mine is electric I didn't think my arthratic body could handle the cranking. I needed it for a cutting table and for laying out pattern pieces, bending over is hard on my back. I was watching yourvideo, and you were sitting and talking about how you don't hunt or fish and I though he needs a dog. Then in a later scene I saw steve, and I thought perfect. Well, I have rambled plenty, I did read another viewers comment and she mentioned how quilters are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, she is right. Best of luck to you Barry and Steve. Much love Tracy from Idaho
Hey Tracy, I fully understand what you are going through. I actually believe that quilting is getting me out of a depression and helped me gain focus again. Get that Juki out and join me on this journey with no destination 😀
My mom downsized her dining table and I took it ! It's great, it expands to over 96 inches ! A corner is for my machine, the rest for cutting, ironing, and laying out my quilt. That table looks great and the price I think is very reasonable. So glad you have decided to podcast!
I'm glad you are enjoying your table too! I was afraid I was the only one that had this ideal lol
Me, too! It's perfect for sewing.😊

Thanks for the warm welcome! I seem to be an all or nothing type so here I am lol!
I think your table is a great idea and sturdy too
I love your table, what a great idea! I have my older Viking machine perched on top of an old sewing cabinet because I’m hooked on all the little drawers!
If that works for you then fantastic. I was using a folding table but wanted something that was movable. Happy Holidays to you
I've had 2 of them (one with drawers and one without) for a few years now. You'll have to be aware of your knees if you keep your machine on top of the one with drawers. Ok - I need to put a name to this?
Clever idea. I like that it is sturdy!
I've had one for several years....perfect for cutting and sewing. My husband bought it for me at Lowe's. It's even handy for large family holidays.😊
I’m glad you are having such good use out of it!

I wish I had bought one without the drawers.
@@davidborcky8721 the one with the drawers lowers to desk height while the one without the drawers lowers to bar height. I have one grandchild who will use the back side of the drawer one to sew as it gives her more legroom

Thank you so much!
This looks awesome. I was checking it out myself last week. I'm in the process of setting up and organizing my room and need a table. Hope this works out for you. 😊
It does but I’m going to get another one without the drawers because it won’t allow me to lower it like I want but I do like this table
❤I use two husky tables to piece and quilt. Very sturdy. affordable, and love the lift.
I think I might turn this one into a cutting table and buy one with no drawers as a sewing table so my legs don’t hit?
@barrysquilts I removed the drawers on both. Shoved the drawers in my husband's shed. I'm short and my knees still hit the drawers.
What a lovely work table! Wonderful that it can rise up so cutting is easier on your back!
Yes, I think it would be easy to use it that way
I have been wanting to get this table… I think it would be perfect as a cutting table and storage for quilt rules / rotary cutters.
That is great - I’m going to get another without the drawers next time
Barry, this is fantastic! What a great idea! I'm in love with those drawers.
If you get one check to make sure the drawers won’t be in your way. I’m going to get a longer one next time without the drawers
I have this one too, I use it for cutting and pressing and move it all over the place depending on what I’m doing. It’s great for holding up the quilt when adding binding on
That’s awesome - I’m glad it’s working for you!
That is great - I’ll have to look for some trays.
You are brilliant
Wow - thank you 😎
I finally got two and both are different sizes. Great adjustable tables. Holds most of my rulers and embroidery hoops. The store delivered them to my door each time and I hired a friend to put them together. Great purchase and so much cheaper than sewing cabinets. Textile fabric art is my new thing since retirement. Love your video!
( you are super cute)
Whit down in Kentucky
Thank you very much - I’m a work in progress. I’m from Louisa Kentucky go Wildcats!
Those are great drawers for quilting! Nice height, is moveable and pleasing to look at. Wow, what more could you ask for?
Absolutely!
Nice desk I may show my husband because I need something for mine. I am new to quilting too. Cute dog by the way.
Thank you and he says hi 😀 check to see if the drawers will be a problem for you. They do have a no drawer version you might like better but it’s a trade off.
I use that table/workbench for my sewing machine too. You will love it. I now have two…lol
When I get this one paid off, I’m going to buy another one without drawers and use it as my sewing machine table, and this one as a cutting table
Can't wait to see your first quilt in progress!
I hope to start in my next video. I’m a little scared of the comments from the Quilt Commandos lol
What a great idea. I really like the drawers in the table and there is lots of table top space for the quilting. ❤I love your Brother machine. I have two of them (different models) and love them both. Thank you for sharing!
I love my brother too but I always wanted a Juki. I guess I’ll just use both 🤓
Getting ready to redo my craft room. Gonna hit Home Depot to check it out! Looks great!!
I was looking for one of those. I thought about buying another old dining table and cut it out to put my machine level but…. lol maybe someday
Hooray! I'm 63, but not retired. I' m just starting to try my hand at quilting too. It's very addicting.
Well, just think when you retire, you can do this full-time. Just remember to do something doing nothing is not healthy.
Great idea, I used a folding 6 ft adjustable table for awhile when i first started. I have even seen quilters using a standing tool box for storage.
Yes, I was eyeing a workbench with drawers, but it is $500 so we will see
Excellent work//quilting station!! Wait till you get your Juki!! Best sewing machine ever!?
A man's quilting table!! 😊👍 Down for sewing, up for cutting! Very nice. I like my cutting mat on the left, then using it while I'm sewing m y machine doesn't get in my way. Way to go Barry!
Thank you lol - yes it can substitute as a work bench too
Love the table idea from the bench. Great and is not expensive. Thanks.
It is nice but I say try before you buy. Some people say the drawers and in the way? They do have one without the drawers.
Wow that's amazing! Well done.
Thank you very much!
That’s a great idea! Thanks
Your welcome 😊
I love your enthusiasm; it's a great start, a perfect worktable.
Thank you I’m not very good at this, but I will try to get better lol
Hey, I'm glad I found your channels pretty interesting. I'm always looking for different options to utilize my sewing machines and my talents. Good for you. Thank you sir
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for watching!
Congratulations on the table. I love it. I think it will serve you well for a long time. TFS
Thank you very much!
I bought the exact same one for my new Husqvarna machine! So far, great!
That’s fantastic - I’m already looking to get another longer one without the drawers
I bought a shop work bench that has a butcher block top, that is about waist high. It’s in my sewing room as a cutting/work table. Perfect height for me.
That is awesome. I was looking around at all these raised desk and until I saw this one.
Again I find you are getting all of my new ideas. The sewing machine and now the table.
What next? lol I need a good ironing mat
I got one of these last year also from Home Depot. Got it pre-assembled and on sale. Paid just over $200 after taxes. I love that it is height adjustable
That was a deal!
I started my new quilting journey with a brother. Then I bought a juki. Its wonderful.
I have a Juke TL2010Q and I absolutely love mine. What a workhorse!
That’s what I did - my brother has been fine, but I always wanted a JUKI
Love your new quilt table! I have a reg desk I sew on.
I was just looking at an ad from Home Depot and that table jumped out and said “Buy Me” lol
I just did the same thing! Home Depot, but I got the 72 inch one. Cost a lot more, but I have room for my machine, and a small ironing wool mat, AND a small cutting mat!. Absolutely LOVE mine! Barry, that is a fantastic idea, great job!
Thank you, I’m happy you think so!
Way to Go Barry! I agree and have two work benches that I work with. I am tall and can’t handle the cramped in sewing tables.
Fantastic - sounds like it is working for you!
What a great find. And you know, that's what enjoying your craft is all about, finding the items that will work to make your sewing life easier. And for a bonus, it raises?! Enjoy sewing with your new Juki on it!!!
Thank you very much
I told my husband I needed that table for my sewing machine and I'm also trying to get him to buy me those big tool boxes as well 🤞
Try it out with and without the drawers. They sell both and I’m going to buy another one without because of the knee lift in the way
Definitely will give them both a try.@@barryquilts
I've seen a number of people who use that same table. I considered it when I set up my new sewing room a few years ago. I just wanted a little bigger space because I have a couple of different machines that I use.
If you look at it check to see if the drawers are an issue for you.

I can’t wait to get another one - I love that table! But I think my next one will be without drawers. Glad you like yours!
Love it good for you !! And hi to Steve 😁🐶!! Enjoy
Thank you! Steve says hi back!
Bought same thing last year. Wish I had put the center bar at the back. It's a great sewing table
Me too but they sold it to me installed - I couldn’t refuse 😊
I would love one of these! Perfect!❤
Well, all you have to do is go in debt like I did and get one lol happy holidays
Very useful table!! We all use what we can. Quilters are creative to use other things to help us. 🎉🎉❤😊
You’re right, I can’t believe I waited so long to do this!
Great idea, thanks for sharing. I use my Grandfather's dinged up old desk that was made in 30s. My hubby bought me a large dining table that's a cutting table❤
That’s fantastic to be able to use your grandfather‘s desk. I was looking on Facebook for a dining room table as well.
My husband bought me one of these tables last year. It is a great table. Very sturdy and flexible.
That’s awesome!
I have this table as well! I love it so much! You can also move the support bar at the bottom to give more foot room.
That is true. I would have put it in the back but they reassembled it and I’ll get around to moving the bar lol
I was looking at ikea and that is a great option! Home Depot was closer to me lol
What’s a great idea! Looks like it will serve you well for a long time. TFS
Thanks! I’m hoping it lasts for a long time or should I say I hope I’m around for a long time lol.
Great purchase! You are really going to enjoy the versatility of this piece. I have had mine for a couple of years now and I love, love, love it! Happy Quilting!
Thank you!
I’ll have to check that out. That looks like a good deal. Yes Steve is my Trustee sidekick lol he thinks he’s a lapdog.😀
@@barryquilts 🤣
Looking gooooood 👏👏👏
I love the drawers 👍👍👍
I do too but they are sort of in the way. I might buy a longer one without drawers next. That way I will have two sort of L shaped in my spare bedroom
Love this Barry. I was seriously considering a Husky workbench for my quilting station before I just ended up getting a secondhand desk. I'll keep your review in mind when it comes time for an upgrade. Thanks for sharing (and for sharing Steve, what a cutie!)
The desk is a great option. I was even looking at used dining tables on Facebook marketplace
Love the sewing table, thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome, I’m glad you like it.
Wonderful!! Hi Steve! Good you have your work buddy!!
He really is a good buddy. I’ve had him for five years now.
I like some of the stuff men use. I like that you think outside of the box. Adjustable height!
I thought it fixed the solution and was reasonably priced?
My husband made my tables. They aren’t as fancy (adjustable) as your Home Depot one, but they fit my space.
I would recommend you go to a big quilt show and try out several long arm machines before you decide on which one you like best. There are a lot choices, and you can get special show pricing.
I’m going to try and go to Paducah in the spring? I’m excited to go.
Looks great. I'm really enjoying your videos. I'm also retired and enjoying quilting.
Thank you I was hoping this will be my two pass times
making videos and quilting lol
I wish I could afford one of these! Nice! Obligatory nose kisses to Steve! ❤
Steve says thank you 😊 He’s over here chewing on a ball
Yes. I bought mine several years ago when they first came out. It was just about$200 I use mine for my embroidery machine next to my longarm so I can multitask! Love it!
Now I'm searching for a table that I can use to make my sewing machine level with the top , giving me a large flat surface for rug making.
Keep me posted!
I might get a work bench now.
Try one out first and make sure the drawers don’t interfere with your legs other than that this is a great table
Hi Thank you for sharing like the table and previous comments indicate you made a good choice. I am going to go check it out
Check out one without the drawers. If I buy one again, it won’t have the drawers.
I love my adjustable table for sewing. Welcome to the world of quilting. I'm looking forward to watching you express yourself through your quilts!
Me too and soon after the first of the year I hope to get one without the drawers
Looks like a good set up!
Thank you seems to be working so far?
Best sewing table ever!
I am new so I don’t know to not know lol but I do like it
@@barryquiltsI love that it's adjustable. As I get older, that's a great feature. Especially if I spend a lot of time sewing.
A friend of mine has the exact same table & loves it!!! Enjoy, waiting to see your unboxing of your new Juki machine! I also have a Juki!!!
That is awesome - I am putting out my Juki unboxing video in the morning
Yay! I need a table, our local home depot has 5 in stock, on sail, and he’s going to one for me for Xmas! Thanks!
Make sure that the drawers are not interfering. I may by another without the drawers. They are nice tables
I use the same table for my very large, and heavy Janome CM17 combo sewing/ embroidery machine- and it is awesome for high speed embroidery, and regular sewing
I’m glad I’m not alone and thinking this was a good idea lol
yes Steve good choice you need something solid and sturdy for your cutting and your machine, as time goes on your will see that you will want a table for each. Can't wait to see your first quilt, congratulations on the new Juki they are popular, I have a Baby Lock don't have to worry about oiling just keep it clean.
My second choice was a baby lock, but I saw that many people had a JUKI and I heard good things about it, but both are great!
I think this looks like a great, sturdy table And it's adjustable - I love that!!
I think so too - adjustable is key for me.
I got the same one, bough it about 5 months ago love it!,best feature raise it to cut so back won’t hurt!
I thought I had a unique idea lol. I’m glad it is working for you. I think next I’ll buy a longer one without the drawers
I like your ideal. This was just what I found, and it seemed to work for me?
You have a great space set up. I look forward to following your progress.
I really appreciate that!
Looks great. Enjoy 🎉
Thank you
Looks awesome - I think you’ll definitely get use out of it! Enjoy!
Thanks - I'm going to try to use it for the next 20 years LOL
It’s not going to rattle when you sew. It’s perfect. Like the idea that it has a lift. Great buy.
That was the main reason I bought it - I’m not in a position to be dealing with rattles lol
I'm glad you like it - I just love my table! I am looking for a rotary cutting mat. What brand do you suggest?
You are going to LOVE your Juki. I'm a new sewer, quilter and I have the Juki and it is a beautiful straight stitch machine. Very fun to use.
I am so excited to learn it and hope it will do the job!
Great idea!!!! I am planning to remodel my sewing room. I have a hodge podge of different tables. Love the height adjustment!!!!
I think I’m a little OCD so I wanted something that I could match later down the road if I get another table.
I have one also and love . Drawers hold long rulers and I can raise it up high for cutting.
That's exactly what I use it for too!
