This dont make any sense at all! Your car will not turn off while its running if the alternator is bad...And if it was your starter, how the heck did you get a jump in the park without tapping the starter or something if that sort? I call bullshit
The only thing good about this video is the amount of people it draws in having the same problem. And the comments that point out the issues with the connections under the fuse box because someone didn't engineer the plastic composition properly.
Hey, my dad just gave me his 2007 saturn aura xe and it's having this problem. Where did you find the fuse box under the hood, I'm scoured the internet and can't find one to purchase.
I've had a few issues like this. One issues can be the camshaft position sensor. Another issues can be the timing chain. If it gets stretched it can skip the teeth for the gear. What's the OBD2 codes?
Same issue as he shows, try multiple times to start but just activates the dash stuff, just had a brand new starter installed so I don't believe it's that. I've cone to the conclusion that is an ignition switch fault, my brother had the exact same issue in his Grand AM. If all else fails I'll remove the ignition modules housing and try a screwdriver like I've done on my old car.
@@davidluderus3011 Yes sir. I paid 75$ for diagnostic fee at ChevyLand in Shreveport and the fuse box underneath the hood was a common problem. The manager said when they removed it everything crumbled. It was brittle and they knew about the problems with those boxes. However with over 300,000 miles and third owner I had no recourse. I ended up paying just over 1,000$ and car ran great since.
@@thatboyfernn4984 yeh I did post there when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it. I'm not sure if I had a username or not. I'll try to find it. The whole time it was the fuse box connections.
On my 2008 it was the underside of the main fuse buss that was bad. All the plastic became brittle and not holding connections very well. As it got hot the connections would loosen up causing this issue. New/used fuse buss, 9 Coors, and 1 Saturday and im back cruisin in this fine ride. Lol...good luck
Yeah dude my Saturn is doing the exact same thing right now. It is winter here and some days are colder than others but when the temperature gets on the warmer side the car will crank but when it gets down to like 45 and below the car does the same thing yours was doing in the video. I figure it’s the starter. Just put a new battery in so...yeah. Was wondering if you knew how much a new starter plus install and labor costs and also wondering if you installed the starter you got rebuilt from autozone yourself or if you had someone install for you
My Saturn is doing the same thing. And I thought it was the temperature too! But today it’s 64 outside and it wouldn’t even crank. Have you found a fix for yours yet?
Smh dang I have a 08’ Saturn Aura XE 3.5l and yes I’m starting to have the same issue it’ll start but it’ll hesitate like it doesn’t work to start up but like a few seconds it’ll start.? Ugh 😑 probably time for a new car 🚘
I have a 2007 Saturn Aura XE. I had this same problem thought it was the starter also but I put a new one in and I still and ended up with the same problem. My car is at a garage rn and they told me that it was the ignition switch. So we'll see. It will cost me 360 to replace but fuck it i need it to run.
@@meechonmercury It is not after I replaced it it still doesn't start after i drive it for a good while but it starts up after a few hours. I took mine to the dealer cause of a recall for the shift cable and there is a switch that connects near it to tell the car what gear its in. If that is not the problem with my car then I dont know what is.
it was the starter relay found out last week had to push down on the fuse while someone else tries to start it to getcit going. Weird problem but finally found what it was.
Brooooo wtffff I’ve neverrrr ever heard someone waist so much time in my life talking and getting confused of what their saying lmao . This is about the slowest human being on planet earth … wow

Fixed? what fixed? you didn't provide a solution! waste of time!

It is most definitely the fuse box. Mine did the same thing. Changed it out and never had a problem!!
The fuse inside the car or out
@@taylorjalicia20 I had to change the whole fuse box under the hood on the driverside. My starter relay portion of the box was Burnt!!

What main fuse was blown I am having that issue now
Everything work in the car if the clock is reset you only need a battery
Under the hood fuse box. Had to be replaced. Gets brittle and connections won't make good connection. Fixed this issue with new fuse box.
You replace the fuse bx under the hood?
