Thank you guys. I have owned 6 different Breedlove models. The first about 6 years ago was very similar to this. It was the Pursuit Exotic CE all Myrtlewood . Solid top with laminate body. Although it is made in China it was very well made and was excellent with the factory pick up system . I shorty traded up to the American made Oregon series . I also own a concertina and concert body in the organic series. Very nice guitars, easy to play and never a problem with their quality . Thanks for your videos
Thanks Quinton and Paul. Always thought Taylor guitars have a better neck profile for my old fretting hand. And Martin modified low oval or soft V. Thanks
My complaint about these are that the necks are way too small and thin for me. If you need something closer to an electric feel, thee might be for you.
Would have been nice to hear it plugged in. I mean, the guy says it sounds great plugged in but....well....why not plug it in then? And saying you can do MIDI with it? That's probably a smaller subset of people that are going to do that.
The Chinese made Breedloves seem to be extremely well made from what I understand. One channel did a review where they cut the guitar in half, and he said it was made better than most guitars at this price point. Seems you get a lot for your money.
@@jonj77I just bought a concert exotic Breedlove to add to my collection . It played well in the store and sounded great but needed a slight adjustment as there was a buzz on the B string at the 13 fret . When I got it home I noticed one of the tuning keys was pulling away from the back of the headstock and there was a mark where it looked like the tuning key screw scrapped the wood . I use to build guitars 25 years ago so I was able to fix the issue with the tuning pegs and screw and it’s virtually un noticeable now . I did tighten the rest of the tuning pegs as they were as they were all loose . The truss rod did not fix the buzz as one of the frets needed to be filed slightly and re crowned . Now it looks and performs externally well especially for the price point . It seems this was a rare issue with this guitar as everything I’ve read from people say theirs was very well put together . I would no judge the company on the issue I had as things happen but it’s not a representation of the majority of the guitars . I would buy another one for sure .
Im not impressed even on sale right now for $299 . If you are going to buy a Chinese made guitar you might as well go with a Chinese made name guitar Merida SADHU all-solid acoustic around $1,100
@@birdog874555haha true. But it's to the point nowadays that we cannot go 5 min without using Chinese-made everything. Breedlove has some absolutely beautiful high end acoustics recently. I don’t normally like sunburst acoustics, but they have one that I actually like.

Oooh She Looks & Sounds Majestic! Love!💜
How's the playability? Low action, light strings etc? And how is this compared with the King Koa besides the price? Thanks.
Low action very fast fretboard for playability

Nice guitar but I don't like the tone and volume control cut onto the side of the guitar

They were saying it is mid-y, and when plugged in you could eq it to fatten it up, or just keep it mid-y.
I don’t know about the Chinese Breedloves, but I have an American made limited edition and it rivals every Martin I’ve ever played.
Lol
And it’s 5 times the price of a Chinese built one.

So many guitars I've passed on because they were made in China.
Spending a lot of time talking, not a lot playing. Not much discussion of unplugged tone....not a good sign. "It's a great stage guitar"..ugh.

If they're made in China...Nope.
As he types on a keyboard, clicking with a mouse, run on a computer/CPU all made in China and Taiwan.
