That's really too bad what happened here, sorry to hear it. We had a population boom of isopods here one year, nearly wiped out my garden. Love the quote at the end. Hope you enjoy your weekend 🙂👍
Me clicking on this video as a isopod keeper thinking "uh oh i wouldnt put this species into an ecosphere-" and turned out it was as i thought 😢 these EXPLODE so fast
It was an amazing experiment. I will do another one at some stage and time lapse the destruction. Sadly I moved apartments and the entire plan went out the window in the chaos but they basically ate it down to dirt. Check out the build video below for a better look at how it started.
yo im jeff and i like crabs i got a species that only exist in belgium and the netherland (for what google says) and on wikipedia you find almost nothing about it i dont think englend has a name for it but in belgium they say breedpootkrab witch tranbslates broad legged crab maybe i can TRY to ship it to you and you can make a vid about it
@@TheHighJeff thwts pretty interesting but there's a really low chance it would survive unfortunately. Plus I'm competely out of space at the moment 😅 I'll see if I can dig up any info on it though
@@IndoorEcosystem ye maybe but but i got some info it likes sand and worms doesnt growq very bif and aslong as its breating thingies stay wet itr can breath on land
@@TheHighJeff I didn't find much about them but they seem to be all around europe and a saltwater crab that lives at the sea/ocean. Quite strange looking little crab.
@@IndoorEcosystem hey so i searched up broad legged crab and i got something that isnt what i thought it was because those are kinda normall crabs but when i search it up in dutch its totally diffrent then its a crab that looks like sand with a white spot on the top they dont grow very big to and its a swim/land crab

@@IndoorEcosystem Happens even to the best of us. 😅 Btw hello Mr. J (I'm not even going to attempt to spell your name because I might botch it 😆) So you're from that country (I'm even not going to spill it here, because I respect your privacy and I'll just let you do it in your own time. 😅) It's a great country though with a rich history and a growing influence in that region I also didn't realize yet when I saw that toblerone box with that picture of the crab that looked like Kevin plastered on it, but it was only when I saw the poster that I started to wonder. Then I saw your comment, which now confirmed my suspicion. Lol 😆
@@IndoorEcosystem So do you prefer to be addressed as Mr. J (calling you Indoor Ecosystem doesn't quite have a catchy ring to it) or perhaps Mr. Krabs? (That's right I made a SpongeBob reference. Lol 🤣) So when do I expect my toblerone box? Ahaha I'm just kidding! 😆 Kidding aside, those posters looked very cool. It wasn't shown long enough but based on a brief glance it looks really well made and professionally done. Kudos to you on getting it made. Wish you success and all the best with this latest endeavor of yours. 😃
@@Cow_Juice Jash is the easiest, Ryo was pretty good getting it right first try a lot of people have trouble with it. Your whole garden! WOW! I didn't even know that was a thing!
@@IndoorEcosystem I asked about it at the nursery and apparently a lot of people had problems with them that year.
@@TarasTankFriends Learn something new every single day! I would never have guessed they could be a problem like this
Thank you for advocating for predators ❤
Every ecosystem needs a balance otherwise it falls apart one way of another.
This was really interesting to watch and happened quite fast.

Funny coincidence i just bought these isopods for my Terrarium 😂😂
Okay i am very scared now thank you. 10/10 will definitly put a mantis in there and pray it will eat them 😭
They are great unless they don't have a predator. They can take over and eat themselves out of house and home!
@@gianoverchill5266 Just make sure it's bigger one. Cause these pods get quite big
@@IndoorEcosystem I hope 4 times the size is enough 😅😬

Any idea what it could be? I've never seen anything like it before.
