As usual...great stuff. Dammit...if this stuff was around when I started in Hollywood proper...wouldda saved me a bunch of meetings with the "suits". Coullda been shooting instead of talking. Keep Rollin' strong, man. And I'll keep learning. *was an "IATSE level 1 grip early on... worked every lot in old days, dammit... " LOVE new stuff for the "Youngsters"(like you)...
@@Crimsonengine thanks for the response. I was more so referring to the size & form factor rather than the weight. I am concerned that a full size ENG style shoulder mounted camcorder or the size of a Canon eos c700 with the codex external recorder attached, wouldn't be able to fit on your gimbal mount for this rig.
Very cool. That is something I might rent. I can't see owning and storing it. If you wanted to shoot in a field you'd have to plan 30 years in advance to plant 2 or more trees. Still cool. Love your tutorials bud.
I’d love to see the walkthrough on taking out the cable in DaVinci!!!

Nice video. This would be a rental only item for us. Cannot wait until you can route the cable for a corner or a turn.
Thanks for this review! Would love to see the tutorial on how to remove the cable.
You got it! I'll post a link here when its up
Can this Cable Cam rig hold a Sony HVR S270u with Zeiss digiprime lenses?
google the combined weights and then google the skywalker capacity.

Great video, this is a shot in the dark but do you still have this Sky Walker? If so would you consider renting it 😂
Sure. It weighs 200 lbs or so. Where are you based?
@@Crimsonengine I’m in Charlotte, NC

Did you have any luck setting up the auto loop? I can’t get it to run automatically
Not so far but working on it
Did you work for Proaim? I just discovered them and you are I. A lot of their videos.

Orrrr hi-hi stands
Too bad its only for 22 pounds, or this would be perfect. Looking for a cable cam for my cinema camera to film sports.
