Fire breaks out at former Jenners building in Edinburgh

  • Firefighters rushed to Edinburgh city centre as smoke billowed out of the iconic Jenners building. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had been called to the fire at the former department store at 11.29am. No casualties have been reported.

    Seemingly asbestos was being removed from the building? Unfortunately 5 firefighters injured. 4 released with 1 critical.

    Yet another Edinburgh insurance job. Quite obviously the internals of the building were not suited to the new development plans.

      @@jimhood796 just take a look around. Edinburgh has been hijacked for years. It’s no mystery or conspiracy theory and if you can’t see that then there’s nothing more I can say on the matter.
