IT was exciting to see our Hotel. If we had known, we would have taken the tram to see the Brittania.

The next time we arrive in Edinburgh. We are taking the tram from the airport, saving $; using the pre-arranged lift airport Cosy us $$. Although, we did have a lovely tour of the area. For a return visit to
Edinburgh, the tram is an excellent mode of transport. 😊

I live 5 mintes walk from Picardy Place. The tram has changed the travel to Leith; it used to be (still is) served by many buses, which go all sorts of places. Most confusing if you don't live here.
Now it is clear and comfortable, and it is changing the face of Leith - that's what good transport does.

Thank you for this video and your previous tram video (which is more detailed). We are coming to Scotland for the first time in 3 weeks. I live in a small province in Canada and we don’t have a lot of public transport so this has been helpful to help me know what to expect.

Hi. That's interesting, I thought I put more info into this new one about what is in the area of each stop. The tram this time got incredibly busy so was difficult to film all the stops. Can I ask what was more detailed in the last one?

For anyone puzzled as to why so many people get on and off the tram at Balgreen despite it sort of being in the middle of nowhere; there are no parking restrictions on the nearby streets so people use it as an unofficial Park and Ride for getting into the city centre or to the airport. Similar situation exists at Bankhead.

Really helpful to see all the views of Edinburgh from the tram…coming home after 54 years …and what surprised me was Jenners Depository.which looks the same as when I passed it every day walking to school…60 odd years ago.

Very nice. Nicely done. I am going to take the tram again, but I hate the noise of it. I loved how quiet it was because you kept the sound off for most of it. GREAT stops inside the city. I have gotten a bit lost when I tried to make a pit stop before entering E.C.C. once. I won't do that again. Your video does help. I promise.

I actually thought to try the tram because this looked so easy from yr last video on the Airport tram.
It was quick and staff were very helpful, however it had glitches. We luckily only needed to go to Haymarket, but many were confused that it went no further? It was badly lite up at each station so did not see much outside the window and the digital sign telling you were you were was not working. The main benefit was hoe fast it was compared to the bus, also space depending on when you travel, return journey was really busy. I will get the bus next time to compare. I have done the bus years ago and really miss the 35 tbh, but things change I guess. I am a native a s know my way about, but I felt really bad for some non English speakers. I guess it is still a work in progress. It is cheap, but do check a map for the stops. Very helpful video though. Ta

Great to know these trams are in full use after the extension. Here in Birmingham the trams can get packed ever since they extended line one from Wolverhampton Station to Edgbaston Village - particularly at weekends as it passes through Broad Street with entertainment and leisure area.

Excellent tour! Question though…there was an announcement on the tram as you were going by the stadium. I swear I heard it in french announcing the exact same stops from our Cobourg (Ontario Canada) VIA train to Ottawa !!!

Very helpful. It is nice to know what to expect with the tram system. Is there a conductor announcing the next stop? I remember riding the Long Island Railroad(LIRR) as a teen and the announcements snapped me out of my thoughts so I didn't miss my stop, typically..😂

Great video! My wife and I are going to be visiting Scotland in November. Question for you my friend. We will be staying in a hotel named cheval old town chambers. What would be the closest tram spot to get in that area that would take us to the airport? Also are there ticket kiosks at every tram stop? Thank you so much! I’ve been watching a lot of your videos in preparation for this trip !😃

Hello, Truthfully the tram stops are still going to be a little walk for you as the hotel seems to be in the old town. Its a choice between princes street or St Andrews square with probably a 15 min walk to the hotel unfortunately.

@ClanBroonford Good morning my friend! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my comment 🙏. We're fine with a little 15 minute walk from our hotel to tram stop 😃. Is there a tram ticket kiosk at either the either stop or do I have to purchase a ticket online somewhere? Thank you again

@@ClanBroonford I am so sorry. When I was there in 2019 there was a Sunday Market located in Haymarket, maybe it isn't there anymore. We are coming in December and I thought perhaps the tram stopped in Haymarket close to the market area. I am just trying to plan a little and I watch your videos to help 😀
