Hi. I was about to buy one my guitarist and me to use as IEM from well known retailer in UK, but someone noticed that operated on illegal frequencies? Could you clarify please.
Hello ! The frequency range is 530 MHz-580 MHz. The preset 100 frequencies for each channel can be switched at will, which can better avoid signal interference.
I just bought one of these, and it turns out they operate in the TV channel bands, so a short term PMSE license is required to use them, which is also venue specific. Sounds like more trouble (and expense £168 a year by the looks) than it's worth. A shame, because the sound quality is really impressive!
