I just got the PTM-11 (single version of this unit), and so far, I'm impressed! Hooked it up in a matter of minutes, started playing music from my interface, went through 3 rooms in my house and then upstairs. No breakup, as clear as if I were using wired earbuds into my phone! Very impressed! Love the channel, the Helix/Stomp tips and tricks, and your enthusiasm!
I have been using the same system for about a year. I'm a mobile DJ and i use it to send signal to my powered speakers. It haven't had any problems or issues at all. I origionally had to make my own 3.5mm to xlr cables my self but now you can get HOSA brand. I have them rack mounted with the antenna extensions to the outside of my case so i can put them externally when playing.
I'm returning my Phenyx Pro PTM10 which I bought partially because of this video. I perform on busy fairgrounds with lots of wireless devices used by entertainers, vendors, games and more. These Phenyx IEM's run in 902 to 928 mHz and which is a busy place with lots of interference. I got interference in my house, in one club and two fairgrounds. If I had kept it I would have gone bat crazy. Got a Shure PSM 300 and it's awesome.
There is a 500MHz version as well, which I'm pretty interested in. Guess I like the PTM10 better than all of their other products just because of the stereo, which when using IEMs for live concerts makes a huge difference (even despite their dual 1u rack units like the PTM22 and 33).
@@sundaystrummer the Shure is like true stereo so you can plug into either left or right and get a signal. I sometimes would forget that with the PTM. PTM body pack has a dedicated power button. Though the shure has a way to auto scan from the body pack to find clear channels. I do know the shure also has the ability to have two separate mono mixes from one transmitter. I have seen something mention that with the PTM but I am not sure how it does with given how the transmitter behaves. You also have the BNC connectors with the shure which means it is easy to find antenna cables and can be hooked up to the antenna combiner.
@@seancca I noticed you've commented on a video a couple of years ago, and you had the Audio2000s system. Do you like the PTM better than the Audio2000s?
Hi man!! im gonna buy one of those! what's the best option? The Xvive u4 or the Phenix pro PTM-10 ? im looking for the most reliable system to not worry about interference and other stuff
I have both and use the PTM-10 the most by far. The main reason right now is that it's stereo so I can pan. The benefits of the Xvive is that it's very small and there's minimal set up. Hopefully that helps you process the purchase
Thanks for the video. I'm interested on buying these but my concern is that i would have to depend on the sound engineer to do my mix right? We have a berinhger x32 at church. Is there a way to setup these and make the mix myself from an app ?
Are you able to: 1. add a third wireless pack 2. Have two different sounds running to 2 different wireless packs (ex. One goes to drummer and what he needs to hear and the other goes to the keyboard player and he hears what he needs
Hey nice video, A thought... could you use one channel left and one channel right ? It would mean using two recievers(beltpacks) but I can't see why you couldn't run the left into one channel and right into the other, hopefully in sync. let me know if you try it ... I'm interested in that setup. Thanks, J.K
Broooo I found your inears that you were talking about, just like the nux, V5S 2.4G Stereo Wireless in Ear Monitor System for Stage Performance IEM System Transmitter Receiver for Band Rehearsal Outdoor Stage Street Performance Guitar Musical Instruments Monitoring
I have them, but they do not work well at my church or the other location I play often. I even communicated that to them and they sent me another one, but they worked the same. I wanted it so badly for them to work, but they just cut in and out too much.
Can’t wait for the POD GO expanse pack!! Definitely interested in the wireless IEM capability. Agreed that I would also want a small set to plug into the P-16 personal mixer. The small gear is nice with the amount of gear we already have to remember to keep up with….. Great Video Brother! Keep em coming! POD GO next right?
Hi, thanks for the excellent review. Can you tell me where you got those AXE FX guitar wireless units. I can't find a mention of them anywhere. Are they pre-production units?
These look interesting. I walked off with my wired IEMs still attached to my p16 mixer once, knocking it over, causing laughter in the room and immediately went to ebay and bought a used Sennheiser G2 IEM system. Never looked back. One of the best purchases I've made. (Oh yeah... Line6 G50 wireless for my guitar) I'm wireless!! And yes Stereo IEMS are sooooo much better. You can separate voice and instruments and it's easier to hear everything when it's not all straight up the middle.
Good video. Just bought the PTM 22, having one issue. The bodypacks come each wanting to sync to separate sides. Which means you would need 2 separate monitor mixes. Our practice mixer only has 1 monitor mix so we were planning on having the bodypacks all synced to the same side. I can't see a way to do this though it seems like it would be a common need...both bodypacks should be able to sync to either side no?
If I wanted to connect these to the p16’s, are you able to pan left and right? We run mono at our church but pan the left and right on the p16’s to sound less muddy.
The white noise is unbearable. Sent it back. Was hoping these would be better than the Xvive U4's but Xvive is far superior. Low cost and no white noise.
I haven't' had that experience...I use the PTM-10 every weekend and the PTM-11 and 22 are even quieter than the 10...might be different per location...idk
@@HeyWorshipLeader interesting. Believe me, I wanted them to be great!! Maybe I received a bum set but from what others have said in reviews, it seems to be a common issue.🤷♂

Very cool!
For the backup plan of putting the worship team in the parking lot! But seriously, amazing range!
haha...exactly!
The PTM-10 is a stereo system. They don't have a multiple mix transmitter though, not yet. Would be nice if the made a 2 or 4 mix transmitter.
true
I've been using the Xvive every week plugged into the Beheringer Mixer. Flawless.
Nice...I hope they send one soon
Everyone sings their praises.
I have one of the single stereo systems. The PTM-10 I believe. It is backup right now to some Shure PSM-300s I picked up used.
That’s a FACT! My PTM-10 holds up against my sennheiser IEM system!
